As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Housing system upgrade changed data feed format, causing each repairs job to be indexed twice. Issue fixed in ingest parser.
Problem: All repairs jobs since the housing system upgrade appeared twice in dashboards, breaking job counts for morning reports.
Handling: Bethan Lister identified the root cause within two days: the upgrade changed how repairs data is sent, and each record was being indexed twice. She fixed the ingest parser; the correct count appeared with the next refresh.
Watch: Second housing system connector issue in six months. If the upgraded system continues to send malformed data, this pattern will repeat.

- Public reply · Bethan Lister 12 Jan 2026 18:41I've picked this up. Just so I've got this right: you're seeing repairs jobs appear twice in the dashboards, and it started after the housing-system upgrade. Are they all duplicate or just some? Thanks, Bethan
- Public reply · Paul Rigby 13 Jan 2026 13:33All jobs since the upgrade. Each one appears twice. Our repairs reporting depends on job counts. Need this fixed quickly.
- Public reply · Bethan Lister 14 Jan 2026 09:49Thanks for confirming. I've looked at how the data is flowing in from the housing system and found the issue: the upgrade changed how repairs data is being sent, and we're now indexing each record twice. I've fixed this on our end and the next refresh will pick up the correct count. You should see single job counts from tonight. Thanks, Bethan
