Ask: Amara Obi opened on 2 Feb 2026 with usage figures and three questions about the board-pack work and access.
Customer view: Craig Oduya said this is the third introduction, the data platform is being reviewed and capability is being built in-house. He will not discuss renewal and wants to know which data and models can leave the brain, in what format and how long it takes.
Next: a written exit answer, copied to Helen Marsden, who stays the day-to-day usage contact. The thread does not show the reply.

- Amara Obi 2 Feb 2026 10:58Hello Helen, hello Craig, I'm Amara Obi, and I've just taken over as your Customer Success Manager at BG-Demo. I know I'm the third person in that seat in eighteen months, so I won't pretend I have the history. I'd rather start by listening. Here's what the numbers say. Calderbrook has 40 licensed users on the Growth tier, and around seven of them are active in a typical month. That is lower than last quarter, and I'd like to understand why before either of you has to ask me. Three questions for you both: - What does good look like for the BI team this quarter? - Who else should have access? - Is there anything about the board-pack work that has been stuck and that nobody has picked up? I'd like to put a short call in the diary in the next couple of weeks, and then let's get the next QBR in the diary too. Tell me what suits and I'll work around you. Best, Amara Amara Obi Customer Success Manager, BG-Demo
- Craig Oduya 4 Feb 2026 13:34Amara, Thanks for the note. This is the third introduction we have had. Each time, the conversation starts again from the beginning. That has a cost for my team, and I would rather say so plainly. Let me set out where we are. Calderbrook's data platform is being reviewed against the platform strategy. We're building that capability in-house, on our existing Microsoft estate. The contract runs to 1 Sep 2026. I am not going to discuss renewal. What I need from you is the exit position. What's our exit position, in practice? Which of our data and models can we take out of the brain, in what format, and how long does it take? A written answer is fine. Helen will remain your day to day contact on usage. Please copy her on the reply.
