What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Jason Pengelly, Commercial Manager, saw the brain on Tamar Crossing Freight's Salesforce and sample dispatch data on 12 Aug 2026. He liked the single customer view and asked for an on-time dashboard. Starter was positioned and a proposal promised.
What happened: Theo Gallagher demonstrated the brain on a Salesforce test instance and sample dispatch data for Jason Pengelly on 12 Aug 2026. Sophie Ling hosted.
Customer view: Jason said the customer view was cleaner than his current set-up, where he jumps between three screens. He asked for a dashboard of on-time performance by driver and by route.
Commercial: Sophie positioned Starter with up to 15 users and a four-week implementation, and promised a proposal with pricing and a possible October kick-off. No price was given on this call.
Watch: Only Jason attended, and the evidence does not show a finance or legal contact yet. Dispatch data comes in as CSV exports, so that connector depends on the customer producing those files.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Sophie Ling to send the demo summary and a proposal with pricing to Jason Pengelly.
- Sophie Ling to schedule a call with Jason to discuss the proposal.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Only the Commercial Manager attended, so the budget holder and legal have not yet been engaged.
- The dashboard builder was demonstrated and requested, but the price book lists it under Growth, so Starter scope needs checking.
- Dispatch data depends on the customer exporting CSV files, which could leave that connector stale.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- A Starter new-business deal with a four-week implementation and a possible October start.
- The dashboard request points to Growth if the customer wants the dashboards builder.
Transcript
- Sophie LingJason, good to see you. This is Theo from our team, he'll be showing you the brain on your Salesforce and dispatch data today.
- Theo GallagherHi Jason. We've connected to your Salesforce test instance and brought in some sample dispatch data. What would be most useful to see first?
- Jason PengellyI'd like to see a customer view, so if I'm looking at a customer account, what can I see about them?
- Theo GallagherPerfect. Let me search for a customer account, here's one. So this is what the brain shows you: the customer record from Salesforce on the left, and then on the right we've pulled in their recent jobs from dispatch. You can see four shipments over the last month, dates, routes, status.
- Jason PengellyAnd I can see calls against that?
- Theo GallagherTo be precise, if you scroll down, we're showing calls that matched this customer, that's by phone number. Three calls in the past month: one query about a late delivery, one booking inquiry, one general question. You can read the transcript or the duration.
- Jason PengellySo the whole relationship is here. What if I want to look at complaints or issues?
- Theo GallagherStill on the same page, if there's a complaint logged in Salesforce, that shows up here with the timeline. So you can see job date, complaint date, call date, all together. Any notes from your team are there too.
- Jason PengellyThis is much cleaner than what I'm doing now, I'm jumping between three screens.
- Sophie LingAnd you'd have this for every customer and every driver. What about trends, can you answer bigger questions?
- Theo GallagherYes. I can ask the brain 'show me all late deliveries in August with an associated customer complaint', and it pulls both data sets. Let me run that. We've got twelve jobs matching that. I can see which drivers, which routes, which customers called in. You can export this or build a dashboard.
- Jason PengellyA dashboard would help. Our operations team would want to see on-time performance by driver and by route.
- Theo GallagherThe dashboard builder is drag and drop, no coding. Here's a template I've made: on-time rate by route, number of complaints, average calls per route. You'd customise it to your metrics. This would update automatically as data comes in.
- Jason PengellyHow often would the data refresh?
- Theo GallagherSalesforce and Xero sync every night. Dispatch data, since you're exporting CSV, we'd typically set that to import daily, you could change it to more frequent if needed.
- Jason PengellyDaily's fine. What about access, can I give different people different permissions?
- Sophie LingWith Starter you get up to fifteen users. You'd add them in our admin panel, control whether they can query, build dashboards, et cetera. So your finance person might just view reports, while you and the operations lead could ask questions and build new views.
- Jason PengellyAnd the implementation, you mentioned four weeks?
- Theo GallagherFor Starter, yes. We'd set up the connectors, test the data, get your team trained, and you'd be live. We'll be methodical about it, you'll have a dedicated project manager.
- Jason PengellyWhen would you want to start?
- Sophie LingIf you're keen, we'd put together a proposal with pricing and scope, and depending on sign-off, we could kick off in October.
- Jason PengellyI like what I'm seeing. What's the next step?
- Sophie LingWe'll send you a demo summary and a proposal with pricing. You review it, let us know if you have questions, and we'll schedule a call to discuss.
- Jason PengellySounds good. Cheers, both.
- Theo GallagherThanks, Jason. Speak soon.
