Current to 13 Oct 26Tariq sets up a new connector to sync the branch system, expanding the brain's data sources. He configures API credentials and enables auto-mapping of fields for the initial sync.
Problem: The customer needed to add a new data source to the brain.
Handling: Bethan provided a step-by-step explanation of the connector setup process: log in, select the connector, provide API credentials, enable auto-mapping. Tariq successfully configured the branch system connector.
Watch: Adding a second data source deepens the brain's roots into the customer's systems.

- created · Tariq Saleem 29 Sep 2025 16:54I need to add a new connector to the brain. Which connectors do you support, and what's the process for setting one up? Do I need to do anything on our system side before I wire it in?
- public_reply · Bethan Lister 30 Sep 2025 05:45Just so I've got this right, you want to set up a new connector. To do that, log into your account and find the Connectors section in settings. You'll see the full list of connectors we support. Click the one you need, and it'll walk you through setup. You'll need API credentials from your system, usually in your admin panel. For field mapping, the connector detects most fields automatically, but you can customise it if you need to. Data syncs on the next refresh cycle. Let me know if you hit anything odd.
- public_reply · Tariq Saleem 1 Oct 2025 10:12Got it. I've got the branch system connector set up with the API credentials in place, and I'm letting it auto-map the fields. Should be syncing on the next refresh. I'll test it and come back if I run into any issues.
