Current to 14 Oct 26Tariq Saleem reported slowness in the regional dashboard when filtering by large accounts. Bethan Lister identified a dashboard rendering issue with hundreds of related disputes and escalated to engineering.
Problem: Dashboard queries slowed when filtering large accounts with hundreds of related dispute records. Handling: Bethan reproduced the issue, diagnosed a dashboard rendering layer problem, and escalated to engineering for a fix. Watch: Monitor for resolution in next engineering release.

- created · Tariq Saleem 12 Jun 2025 09:47Hi, We're seeing slowness when the regional teams run queries on larger accounts - the dashboard takes a long time to load when they filter by big accounts. It happens consistently on the same accounts. This was working fine a month ago. The teams are using the standard dashboard I built for the monthly review. I've checked the query and it looks straightforward - it's a simple account filter. Can you help us work out if this is something on our end? Cheers, Tariq
- public_reply · Bethan Lister 12 Jun 2025 11:16Hi Tariq, Just so I've got this right - the regional dashboard is slow when you filter by certain large accounts. That's helpful. A few questions: is it slow on all accounts or just the big ones? When you say it takes a long time, how long are we talking? And can you try running the query in the query builder and tell me if it's faster? Thanks, Bethan
- public_reply · Tariq Saleem 13 Jun 2025 10:11Hi Bethan, It's specifically the large accounts. I tested a few and the pattern is consistent. The query in the builder runs quickly, but in the dashboard it's slow. I checked the load log for one of the slow accounts and I'm seeing we're pulling in a lot of related records from the disputes field. That could be the cause. Cheers, Tariq
- public_reply · Bethan Lister 16 Jun 2025 10:58Hi Tariq, That's useful - if the query is fast in the builder but slow in the dashboard, the issue is in the rendering layer. The disputes field pulling a lot of records would explain the slowness. Which account did you check the load log for? And roughly how many related disputes does it have? Thanks, Bethan
- internal_note · Bethan Lister 16 Jun 2025 16:11Tariq confirmed the slow accounts have hundreds of related disputes in the load log. This is a known issue with dashboard rendering of large related datasets. I've reproduced it on my end. Escalating to engineering.
