What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Johan Berglund reported that the search filter function returns results that don't match the applied criteria, particularly with date-range filters. Bethan reproduced the issue and reported it to the platform team for fixing.
Problem: Search filters for high-value customers and recent purchases are unreliable; Johan found that date range filters are not applying correctly, returning customers outside the specified purchase-value and date windows. Handling: Bethan requested details to reproduce, Johan clarified the date filter was the culprit, and Bethan confirmed the issue. She escalated to the platform team. Watch: No workaround is offered or final resolution shown, leaving Johan asking whether to avoid that search type while awaiting the fix.

- created · Johan Berglund 13 Aug 2026 17:39Hi, I've found a bug with the search function. When I apply a filter: for example, 'high-value customers' or 'recent large purchases', the results include customers that don't actually match the filter criteria. The search results are unreliable, which is a problem for our team's analysis. Can you help fix this?
- Public reply · Bethan Lister 14 Aug 2026 00:54Hi Johan, thanks for reporting this. Just so I've got this right, the search is returning results that don't match your filter. Can you try the search again and tell me exactly what you filtered on and what results you got? That way I can reproduce the issue on my end.
- Public reply · Johan Berglund 18 Aug 2026 16:39Sure. I filtered for customers with purchases over a certain amount in the last 30 days, and I'm getting customers in the results that don't meet that criteria, lower purchase values are showing up. It seems like the date filter isn't working properly.
- Public reply · Bethan Lister 19 Aug 2026 09:08Thanks for that detail. I've reproduced the issue, you're right, the date range filter on the search isn't applying correctly. I've reported it to the platform team and they're working on a fix. I'll let you know as soon as it's resolved.
- Public reply · Johan Berglund 21 Aug 2026 16:45Good to hear it's been identified. Is there a workaround we can use while the fix is being worked on, or should we just avoid that search type for now?
