Current to 13 Oct 26Alistair Penrose, joint administrator, replied on 14 Aug 2026 that the administration does not adopt the Growth contract, will not hold a check-in, and wants written confirmation of the data BB-Demo holds and the arrangements at term end.
Ask: Amara Obi wrote on 12 Aug 2026 that only a handful of the 40 licensed users had been active, and asked for a check-in on usage and the end of term.
Customer view: Alistair Penrose said the administration does not adopt the contract and that silence is not agreement to continue. He asked for written confirmation of the data held and the arrangements when the term ends on 22 Aug 2026.
Money: he directed any sums owed to a statement of claim route, not to the account team.
Next: a written reply on data and term-end arrangements is owed to him.

- Amara Obi 12 Aug 2026 13:23Dear Mr Penrose, I'm Amara Obi, a Customer Success Manager at BB-Demo. We haven't spoken before, so let me introduce myself properly. I'm getting in touch about the Growth subscription for Ashwell Mercer Interiors, which runs to 22 Aug 2026. Here's what the numbers say: only a handful of the 40 licensed users have been active in recent weeks, and that is well down on the previous quarter. I'd rather raise that with you now than let it go unmentioned. I'd like to get a short check-in in the diary, ideally this week or next, to cover three things: - how the brain is being used at the moment, and by whom - who else should have access, or who no longer needs it - what you would like to happen with the data and the subscription at the end of the term I appreciate you will have a great deal on your plate, so I'm happy to work around your schedule, and a call of a few minutes would be enough. Best, Amara
- Alistair Penrose 14 Aug 2026 14:26Dear Ms Obi, Thank you for your email of 12 Aug 2026. In my capacity as joint administrator of Ashwell Mercer Interiors, I should be clear that the administration does not adopt that contract. A check-in call on usage or on the future of the subscription is therefore not something I will be arranging, and I would ask that you do not treat any silence from my office as agreement to continue. I would be grateful if you would confirm to me in writing, by return, what data of the company BB-Demo holds, and the arrangements that will apply to it when the term ends on 22 Aug 2026. Any sums you consider to be owed should be dealt with by way of a statement of claim, which I understand your colleague in finance has already begun. Please direct all correspondence on that matter through that route. Yours sincerely, Alistair Penrose, Joint Administrator
