What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Amara Obi introduces herself to Commercial Director Craig Ashwell and raises low usage. Craig admits teams went back to spreadsheets and sets a test: one place for projects, variations and invoices. A session is agreed.
Ask: Craig wants a client's projects, variations and invoices in one place so no variation goes unrecorded. He says the brain will get used if it does that, and to be told if it does not.
Customer view: he accepts the usage point and takes ownership of not pushing teams back.
Next: Amara booked a Tuesday session at 10:00 and a QBR. The evidence does not show how the session went.

- Amara Obi 15 Jan 2026 11:18Hi Craig, I'm Amara, a Customer Success Manager at BB-Demo. I'm picking up day-to-day contact for Ashwell Mercer from Marcus, so I wanted to introduce myself properly rather than let you hear from me only when something needs attention. I'll be honest, I'm new to your account and I haven't had the history you have with the team here, so I'd like you to tell me what good looks like for you this quarter. Here's what the numbers say so far: fewer people have been active over the last quarter, and only a handful of your 40 licensed users are logging in regularly. I'd rather raise that with you directly and work out together what would make the brain more useful for the project, commercial and credit teams. Who else should have access, or should be in the conversation? Could we book 30 minutes this week or next? Best, Amara
- Craig Ashwell 16 Jan 2026 09:08Amara, Thanks for the note. Good to know who I'm dealing with. You're right about usage. I won't dress it up. The teams went back to their own spreadsheets over December and I haven't pushed them back. What I want is simple: see a client's projects, variations and invoices in one place, so nobody is chasing a variation that was never recorded. If the brain does that, I'll get people using it. If it doesn't, tell me. I can do next Tuesday morning. Send me a time. Craig
- Amara Obi 16 Jan 2026 09:44Hi Craig, That's really helpful, thank you. It's a clear brief and I'll build the session around it. Tuesday at 10:00 works for me. I'll send an invite now. Could you bring one live client with a variation you want to see tracked? We'll go through it on screen, and I'll show you which teams have been using what lately so we can agree who needs to be back in there. Let's get the next QBR in the diary at the same time, so the follow-up doesn't slip. Best, Amara
