What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Andrew Sugden approved twenty additional users subject to final figures. He asked whether Tolmere's debtors can sit in the brain within current entitlement. Lewis Kerr has not yet confirmed that.
Ask: Andrew approved the user add-on and asked, for Martin Firth, whether Tolmere's debtors can be viewed beside Harcastle's. He wants any cost shown separately.
Customer view: Andrew values Lewis being straight about what is unconfirmed. He asked for the user add-on to move on regardless and wants to know the margin impact once Tolmere is folded in.
Next: Lewis must check with the implementation team whether the current connector allowance covers the Tolmere ledger. Martin is to send the accounting system details and contact.

- Andrew Sugden 16 Jun 2026 13:52Lewis, I have read your note and the draft. I am happy to approve the twenty additional users, subject to the final figures being as you described. I have copied Martin Firth, our Credit Manager. Once Tolmere's accounts are being brought across, he wants to see their debtors beside ours in the brain, so he can judge collection risk on one view and not two spreadsheets. Can that be done inside what we have bought, or does it need something extra? If there is a cost, I need it separately so it goes in the plan. Andrew Sugden
- Lewis Kerr 18 Jun 2026 11:15Andrew, Martin, Thank you both. Andrew, I will take the approval as confirmation for the twenty users and prepare the order form on that basis. They will sit on top of your existing 40 users and be co-termed to your renewal, so you keep a single date. The figures will be in the quote, with the VAT position shown line by line. I'll send that over today. Martin, on the debtors question: the brain reads from your accounting system, so the first step is for Tolmere's ledger to be a source we can connect. I would rather not promise more than that until I have checked it with our implementation team and confirmed what your current connector allowance covers. I will come back to you both with a clear answer, and with any cost shown as its own line, as Andrew asked. It would help if Martin could tell me which accounting system Tolmere uses and who on their side looks after it, so I can have the right conversation. Kind regards, Lewis Lewis Kerr Account Executive, BB-Demo
- Andrew Sugden 19 Jun 2026 13:13Lewis, Understood, and thanks for being straight about what you have not yet confirmed. Martin will send you the details on Tolmere's accounting system and the contact there. Please keep the user add-on moving in the meantime so it is not held up by the debtors question. One point for the plan: if the connector work does carry a cost, how many of our customers does it touch, and what is the margin impact once Tolmere is folded in? Andrew Sugden
