What this says
Current to 14 Oct 26After the discovery call, CFO Mats Eklund confirmed the summary but wants the £129k split into annual and one-off, plus year-two cost, before any demo. Tom Ashdown promised a split with the proposal.
Ask: Mats wants the numbers first: what the £129k includes, what is annual, what is one-off, and next year's cost.
Customer view: the summary is correct, but the return must be visible before anything is agreed. Tom says £129k covers implementation and the first year's subscription, and Enterprise is pencilled in as a likely fit.
Next: Tom sends the split with the proposal and agrees a demo date with Karin Sjöberg. The figure is a deal value in conversation, not an executed price.

- Tom Ashdown 20 Jan 2025 15:19Hi Karin, hi Mats, Thanks for your time today. Really useful to hear how customer service, e-commerce and the stores each hold a different piece of the picture of a customer, and how much effort it takes to line them up by hand. As I understood it, you want one view of each customer segment that the store managers can act on, and Mats, you want to see the return before anything is agreed. Fair summary? I've pencilled in Enterprise as the likely fit given the number of teams involved. The figure I have for the deal is £129,000, which includes the one-off implementation fee. I'll confirm the exact breakdown in writing before anyone relies on it. Next step from my side is a demo on your own data. Let's get something in the diary. Cheers, Tom
- Mats Eklund 22 Jan 2025 08:50Tom, Thank you for the summary. It is correct. Before the demo, send me the numbers first: what is included in the £129,000, what is annual and what is one-off. I also need to know what the cost looks like next year. Mats Eklund, CFO
- Tom Ashdown 23 Jan 2025 12:25Hi Mats, hi Karin, Fair questions, Mats. The £129,000 is the total value of the deal, so it covers the implementation as well as the first year's subscription. I'll send a proper split with the proposal so you can see the annual part on its own, and what it does in year two. Leave that with me. Karin, I'll get a date for the demo sorted with you separately. Best, Tom
