What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026A connector stopped loading new records and shows "authentication failed" after Brakkevoort changed access settings. Bethan Lister asked Bas Vermeulen to have IT re-authorise it; the ticket stays open.
Ask: Bas reported shipper views showing older data. Bethan asked him to re-run the sync and send the error text.
Customer view: Bas suspects the access change made the previous week and will ask IT. Bethan has not reproduced the fault, so the cause is not confirmed.
Next: IT re-authorises the connector and Bas reports back; Bethan escalates if it still fails.

- Bethan Lister 10 Aug 2026 15:37Hi Bas, I've picked up your ticket. Just so I've got this right: one of your connectors is not loading new records, and the shipper views are showing older data than they should. Can you try this and tell me what you see? 1. Open the connector settings in the brain. 2. Re-run the sync manually. 3. Send me the exact error text, if there is one. If anything changed recently in the source system, please tell me. That is often the cause. Thanks, Bethan
- Bas Vermeulen 10 Aug 2026 15:47Hi Bethan, I re-ran the sync and it stopped again. The message says "authentication failed". We did change some access settings on our side last week. I don't know if that is related. I will ask a colleague in IT. Bas
- Bethan Lister 10 Aug 2026 16:43Hi Bas, Thanks, that helps. That error points to the credentials the connector uses, so I think the access change is the likely place to look. I haven't reproduced it yet, so I won't say for certain. Can you ask your colleague in IT to re-authorise the connector, then run the sync again and tell me what you see? If it still fails I will escalate with the error text you've sent. I'll keep the ticket open until you tell me it works. Thanks, Bethan
