As at Fri 9 Oct 2026After the discovery call Tom Ashdown proposed the Growth tier at £56k total deal value. CFO Marloes Hendriks refused to progress without a written split of implementation and subscription, billed quarterly in advance. Tom agreed.
Ask: Marloes wants the one-off implementation and the recurring subscription shown separately, and will not discuss figures verbally.
Customer view: she states quarterly billing in advance was agreed; the thread does not show where.
Next: Tom sends a written proposal reconciled to £56k and checked against the price book, and agrees the demo date separately with Pieter van Dam.

My notes: your account managers currently piece together each shipper from the ticketing tool, the CRM and call recordings by hand, and you want to see exceptions before a shipper complains. Pieter was clear that no churn on shipper accounts is the goal. On shape, I think the Growth tier fits several teams working in one place. The total value of the deal as it stands is £56,000. Marloes, I know you will want the detail behind that, so I'll confirm the split in writing rather than leave it to memory. We are aiming to have things signed by 21 Mar 2025, and the next step is a demo on your own data. Cheers, Tom
- Marloes Hendriks 20 Jan 2025 17:18Dear Tom, Thank you for your note. Before anything is progressed, please send the amount broken down: what is the one-off implementation and what is the recurring subscription. We chose billing quarterly in advance, and any proposal must state this, quarterly in advance, as agreed. I will not discuss figures verbally. Please put everything in writing. Met vriendelijke groet, Marloes Hendriks

I'll send the proposal with the implementation fee and the subscription shown separately, and quarterly billing in advance written into it. The £56,000 is the total deal value, so the split will add up to that and I'll check it against our price book before it goes out. Pieter, I'll keep the demo date separate and sort it with you directly. Cheers, Tom
