Daniel Okafor gave notice of the Growth renewal on 1 Sep 2025 at £44k for 40 users. Helen Marsden would not confirm: usage has drifted down and board-pack figures do not reconcile. She asked for usage evidence first.

Ask: Helen wants a summary of who is using the brain, how many questions are asked and which connectors are loading properly, before she discusses it internally.

Customer view: the board will ask what the subscription delivers, and she is not sure she can answer clearly.

Next: Daniel promised the usage summary, with sources for the repairs figures, by the end of next week. Tom Ashdown only picks up paperwork when Helen is ready.

Hello Helen, I hope you are well. I am writing, as we do for every customer, to let you know that your Growth subscription comes up for renewal on 1 Sep 2025. I have copied Tom, who looks after the commercial side, so that you have both of us from the start. Just so it is clear, the current contract is £44,000 a year for 40 licensed users, and the renewal would continue on that basis unless you would like to change anything. If you want to add or reduce anything, or talk about how the team uses the brain, now is the right time, and we are in no rush. How is the team finding it at the moment? I would value a conversation before we put any paperwork together. Best wishes, Daniel

Hello Daniel, Thank you for the notice. I appreciate the early warning. I should be honest that I cannot confirm anything yet. The board will ask what we are getting for the subscription, and at the moment I am not sure I can answer that as clearly as I would like. Usage across my team has drifted down, and a few of the figures in the board pack still do not reconcile, which we talked about last month. Could you send me something that shows who is using it, how many questions are being asked, and which connectors are loading properly? I will need to discuss it internally before we commit to anything. Kind regards, Helen

Hello Helen, Thank you for being so open about it, that is helpful, and it is exactly the right thing to ask for. Just to close the loop on what you have asked for: I will put together a usage summary covering active users, questions asked and the state of each connector, and I will include the repairs figures you mentioned so you can see the source for each one. I will come back to you by the end of next week with that. No decision is needed from you on the renewal until you have seen it. Tom is aware, and he will only pick up the paperwork when you tell us you are ready, ahead of the 1 Sep 2025 date. If it would help to go through the summary together rather than just read it, I am glad to do that. Best wishes, Daniel
