What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Tom Ashdown recaps the demo and the £56k Growth deal; Paul Rigby sends the repairs report and says he is interested only if the brain counts a re-raised job once and shows the source of each figure.
Ask: Tom wanted a sample of the repairs report that causes most trouble, so Hannah Lowe could test it against the connector design. Paul sent it on 12 Jul 2024 and asked for proposal timing.
Customer view: Paul is conditionally interested. He warns that copying the housing system's output would leave the same problem with a nicer front end.
Next: Hannah needs to show how duplicate jobs are caught and where each board-pack figure comes from.

- Tom Ashdown 10 Jul 2024 11:44Hi Helen, hi Paul, Thanks for your time on the demo, much appreciated. It was good to see the repairs and arrears data side by side on your own extract, and Hannah (copied) says the questions from your team were the best she has had in a while. A quick recap of where I think we landed: - You want one board-ready view that joins tenant calls, repairs tickets, complaints and rent arrears. - The repairs figures have to reconcile to the housing management system, otherwise nobody will trust the rest. - The Growth tier looked like the right fit for several teams, and the number we pencilled in for the whole deal is £56,000 in total value. I'll confirm the breakdown in the written proposal rather than quote it from memory. We're aiming to have something signed by 16 Aug 2024 if all goes well, but no pressure, we'll go at your pace. One ask: Paul, could you send over an example of the repairs report that gives you most grief, with a job reference or two? Hannah would like to run it through the connector design before we put a proposal in front of you. Leave that with me and let's get something in the diary for the walkthrough. Cheers, Tom
- Paul Rigby 12 Jul 2024 14:57Tom, Report attached. It's the weekly repairs jobs summary. Double-counted again where a job gets raised and then re-raised after a visit. Job ref attached on the second tab, you can see the pair. If the brain can count a job once, I'm interested. If it just copies what the housing system gives us then we've got the same problem with a nicer front end. Helen will want to see the source for every figure that goes in the board pack. Can Hannah show us where it comes from? Any update on the proposal timing, let me know.
