What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Helen Marsden accepted a Wednesday morning demo from 10:00 and will bring an IT colleague. Whether an extract can be sent is unconfirmed; she asked for a sample fallback with real structure. Mostly scheduling.
Ask: Tom wanted a small anonymised extract of arrears and complaints so the demo runs on Calderbrook's own data. Helen needs IT to confirm what can be sent and will answer by Monday.
Customer view: she wants real structure, not invented rows, and a clear explanation of where the data sits and who can see it.
Next: Tom to prepare the data-location and access explanation for the IT attendee.

- Tom Ashdown 2 Jul 2024 12:00Hi Helen, Hope the week's treating you better than the arrears figures were last time we spoke. As promised, here's the scheduling note for the demo. I'd suggest an hour, and I'd like to run it on your own data rather than a canned dataset. For that, I'll need a small extract from the housing management system covering arrears and complaints, anonymised however your information governance team needs it. Nothing live, just enough for us to show you how the figures join up and where each one comes from. I can do Tuesday or Wednesday next week, mornings or early afternoon. If neither suits, give me a couple of alternatives and I'll make it work. Also, who else should be in the room? If someone from IT or data protection wants to hear how the Snowflake side works, it's easier to have them there from the start than to repeat it later. Cheers, Tom
- Helen Marsden 5 Jul 2024 11:08Tom, Apologies for the delay in replying, it has been a heavy week with the board papers. Wednesday morning works for me, any time from 10:00. I would rather have the demo then than push it further out. On the extract: I need to check with a colleague in IT what we are allowed to send, so I cannot promise it before the call. I will confirm by Monday. If it is not possible, can you work from a smaller sample that I describe to you? I would prefer the board-pack arrears section to be shown with real structure, not invented rows. I will bring one colleague from IT. Please keep the explanation of where the data sits, and who can see it, clear and specific. That is what they will ask. Kind regards, Helen
