What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26In a 23 Sep 2025 discovery call, Lieke Hermans and CFO Jeroen Coenen described fragmented data and an opaque cost to serve each shipper. Priya Raman pitched Growth, with signing targeted for mid-December.
What happened: Priya Raman ran discovery with Lieke Hermans and Jeroen Coenen. Lieke described shipper data, WMS and invoices in three separate systems, and Jeroen said cost to serve each shipper is opaque.
Customer view: Jeroen's interest is commercial: "If the brain can surface that, it's valuable." He asked about timing, price, connectors and support, and said the date is on their budget planning calendar.
Commercial: Priya quoted Growth at forty-four thousand a year plus a twelve thousand implementation. Jeroen put the first year at sixty-two all-in and Priya confirmed it.
Watch: Stijn, the data specialist who knows the systems, was not on the call. The evidence does not show what happened after the demo.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Priya Raman to send Stijn a calendar invite for a demo on their own data the following Tuesday.
- Priya Raman to send Jeroen Coenen a summary of pricing and contract terms for procurement.
- Lieke Hermans to bring Stijn into the next conversation.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- Stijn, who knows the systems, was absent, so connector needs are not yet confirmed.
- The mid-December signing target is tight, and procurement has not yet seen the terms.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Growth fits their volume and answers Jeroen's shipper profitability question.
- Lieke asked about going beyond eight connectors, which could mean an additional connectors add-on.
Transcript
- Priya Raman NoneMorning, both, thanks for making the time. How are you doing?
- Lieke Hermans NoneGood morning, all well here.
- Jeroen Coenen NoneYes, likewise.
- Priya Raman NoneGreat. So just to kick off, I'm Priya, I'm the account executive here at BB-Demo: and what I want to do today is really understand how you're currently tracking orders, exceptions, invoices across your shippers. I know from our first conversation that you're moving a lot of volume and things are pretty fragmented right now. Is that fair?
- Lieke Hermans NoneThat's the understatement. We've got shipper data in one system, our WMS in another, and invoices in a third. So whenever someone wants to understand why a shipment failed or what the margin is on a customer, it's a manual job.
- Priya Raman NoneRight, and that's exactly what the brain is designed to fix. So you'd ask it something like 'show me failed shipments for German customers in August' and it just gives you the answer, cross-system, in seconds. Jeroen, from a CFO perspective, is the margin question something that's come up? Like, do you want to understand shipper profitability more deeply?
- Jeroen Coenen NoneAbsolutely. Right now we invoice by the shipment, but understanding what each shipper is actually costing us to service, that's opaque. If the brain can surface that, it's valuable.
- Priya Raman NoneThat's perfect. So to keep momentum, I think the right approach is a demo on your actual data, and that would show you both exactly what's possible. Before we do that though, I need to understand your tech stack a bit better. Stijn, I know, is your WMS person, is he on this call? No? Okay, so Lieke, who would normally talk through your systems with us?
- Lieke Hermans NoneThat would be Stijn, our data specialist, he's got access to everything. I can loop him in for the next conversation.
- Priya Raman NoneBrilliant. So what I'd suggest: if we can get this over the line by mid-December: is we do a demo with Stijn next week, walk through the connectors, show you what the data looks like when it's unified, and then we talk about next steps. Sound good?
- Jeroen Coenen NoneMid-December deadline, what does that mean in terms of implementation if we decide to go ahead?
- Priya Raman NoneSo with Growth, which I think is the right fit for you given your volume, that's eight weeks to full implementation. You'd probably go live in January or February next year. But the contract piece can be signed in December, we can get going after the new year.
- Jeroen Coenen NoneOkay, that's on our budget planning calendar. What's the investment?
- Priya Raman NoneSo Growth is forty-four thousand a year, plus a one-off implementation of twelve thousand. That gets you forty users, eight connectors: so your WMS, your shipper system, invoicing, email, whatever else you need. Happy to go into the details after the demo, once you can see what it actually does for you.
- Jeroen Coenen NoneSo sixty-two all-in on year one?
- Priya Raman NoneThat's right, the sixty-two covering the full first year. Year two onwards you're just at the annual fee. The implementation's a fixed cost, we've done this for every customer, so there are no surprises there.
- Lieke Hermans NoneWhat happens if we need more than eight connectors?
- Priya Raman NoneGood question. So eight is what's included, and if you need more, say you've got a new system, you can add extra connectors at cost. But honestly, in your space, eight usually covers it. Stijn will have a view on that.
- Jeroen Coenen NoneAnd what about ongoing support, if something breaks?
- Priya Raman NoneSo with Growth you get quarterly check-ins with our customer success team, and if you need something faster, like if a connector goes down, our support team will respond within an hour. We can talk through the full SLA after the demo if you want.
- Lieke Hermans NoneThat sounds reasonable.
- Priya Raman NoneGreat. So next steps: I'll send Stijn a calendar invite for the demo, I'm thinking Tuesday next week, if that works? And Jeroen, I'll send you a summary of the pricing and the contract terms so your procurement team can start thinking about it. Does that work?
- Jeroen Coenen NoneYes, that's fine.
- Lieke Hermans NoneGood for us as well.
- Priya Raman NoneBrilliant. Cheers both, speak soon.
