What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Sophie Ling presented the Starter tier to Eleanor Pickering on the 7 Aug 2025 call. Eleanor asked about dashboards and add-ons, then said she would review with her team and finance before deciding.
What happened: Sophie showed the brain on Fulford Ings Software's own data and quoted Starter at £20k subscription plus £6,000 implementation, on a four-week timeline. Eleanor wanted to read tickets against customer usage.
Customer view: Eleanor called the commitment reasonable and said she would discuss it with a colleague and a finance person. No price objection was raised and no rival was mentioned.
Commercial: Eleanor's dashboard idea sits in Growth, not Starter, so it is a likely later upgrade. Extra users or connectors would be add-ons.
Watch: The decision rests on people who were not on the call, and finance has not yet seen the numbers. Sophie asked for a decision within a month.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Sophie Ling to send the proposal with pricing and timeline on the day of the call.
- Eleanor Pickering to review with her team and finance, with a decision hoped for within a month.
- Sophie Ling to arrange a security review for Eleanor's IT team once the proposal is agreed.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The decision depends on a colleague and a finance person who were not on the call.
- Dashboards, the use case Eleanor raised, are not in Starter, so expectations could outrun the tier.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Growth tier would give Eleanor the dashboards builder for ticket volume against customer health.
- Additional users or connectors could be sold as add-ons once adoption picks up.
Transcript
- Sophie LingHi Eleanor, can you hear me?
- Eleanor PickeringYes, I can hear you fine. Thanks for making time this morning.
- Sophie LingLovely. So I've got the brain loaded up with your data. Shall we dive in?
- Eleanor PickeringPlease. I've been keen to see how this would work for reading tickets against customer usage.
- Sophie LingPerfect. So the big picture: the brain is a query layer over all your data, CRM, tickets, emails, the rest. Your team stops stitching spreadsheets together and just asks the brain questions. And because the data refreshes every night, you're working with today's picture.
- Eleanor PickeringRight. So we could ask, show me customers with high ticket volume in the last month?
- Sophie LingExactly. And you could combine that with usage data, see which accounts are struggling. It's all there in one place. The Starter tier gives you fifteen users, four connectors, CRM, ticketing, email, maybe a knowledge base: and you get search, pages and the chat interface.
- Eleanor PickeringSo we could set up a dashboard showing ticket volumes against customer health?
- Sophie LingDashboards are in Growth tier actually. On Starter, you'd do it through pages and chat: so you'd save a page that runs the query, and people come back to it, comment on it. We typically start people on Starter and grow them as adoption picks up.
- Eleanor PickeringOK. And what's the commitment?
- Sophie LingAnnual, in advance. The Starter tier is twenty-five thousand five hundred all-in, that's the annual subscription at nineteen thousand five hundred plus the implementation at six thousand. Four-week timeline. Quarterly check-ins, and annual renewal after that.
- Eleanor PickeringRight. And if we wanted more users or connectors?
- Sophie LingThose are add-ons. You can add ten users or five connectors at a time, separately priced. But most people find they get good value out of Starter first.
- Eleanor PickeringThat's reasonable. Let me obviously discuss with William and Maureen, she's our finance person, and we can circle back.
- Sophie LingGood plan. If you could decide in the next month, that'd be ideal. What's the next step from you?
- Eleanor PickeringWe'll review with the team. You'll send the proposal?
- Sophie LingI will, today. All the details, the pricing, the timeline. You loop in William and Maureen, and once you're happy, we'd chat about a quick security review for your IT team, then get you signed and ready to kick off.
- Eleanor PickeringPerfect. I'll review this with the team and we'll be in touch.
- Sophie LingBrilliant. Speak soon, Eleanor.
- Eleanor PickeringCheers, Sophie.
