What was said
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026On 4 Feb 2026 COO Arvind Pillai and Wei Ling Tan heard the Growth proposal and asked for the order form. The quoted year-one total does not match the annual fee plus implementation as stated on the call.
What happened: Sophie Ling walked Wei Ling Tan and Arvind Pillai through eight connectors, twelve users, nightly refresh and an eight-week implementation. Arvind said they need this and asked for the order form to be sent.
Commercial: Sophie stated Growth at £50k annual and implementation at £12k, then said fifty-six total for year one. Those figures do not reconcile, and the customer was told close by end of February and go live mid-April.
Customer view: Arvind asked who fixes broken connectors and what happens if they need to scale down. Sophie said changes come at renewal, with mid-term changes by conversation.
Watch: The evidence does not show the order form being signed, so treat it as an open proposal.

- Hannah, the Solutions Engineer, to join the kickoff once the order form is signed.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The year-one total Sophie quoted does not match the annual fee plus implementation she stated, which could cause a dispute at signing.
- Arvind asked about scaling down, and was told changes come at renewal, so the customer may be sensitive to commitment.
- The evidence does not show the order form signed, so the end of February close is unconfirmed.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Growth subscription and implementation closing with the COO already asking for paper.
- Users can be added in blocks of ten beyond the twelve in scope, as an expansion route.
Transcript
- Sophie LingThanks for the time, both of you. We've done the discovery and scoped the implementation. Today I want to walk through what we'd build, the benefits, and the commercial piece. About thirty minutes. Sound okay?
- Wei Ling TanYeah, good.
- Sophie LingSo the scope. We're connecting your payments platform, your CRM, your support tickets, and your finance system. That's eight connectors. Your ops team, the twelve people across ops and finance, gets access. Everyone can search and build dashboards. No SQL. Data refreshes nightly.
- Arvind PillaiWho manages the connectors if something breaks?
- Sophie LingWe do. We monitor every night. If a connector fails, we notify you, we fix it. Part of the service. You control access, your IT keeps the keys, but we're responsible for the data flow.
- Arvind PillaiAnd the data sits where?
- Sophie LingYour own Snowflake instance. We don't hold it. You own it. That's the core of it.
- Arvind PillaiRight. So commercially, what are we looking at?
- Sophie LingGrowth tier. That's fifty thousand annual, so you're paying that every year. Plus implementation, which for your scope, eight connectors, twelve users, is twelve thousand. So fifty-six total for year one. After that, fifty annually.
- Wei Ling TanAnd we can add more users after the first year?
- Sophie LingYeah. Users in blocks of ten, at renewal or mid-term if you need them sooner. The service includes quarterly check-ins: we sit down, see how adoption's going, reshape dashboards, make sure the connectors are doing what you need.
- Arvind PillaiImplementation is eight weeks?
- Sophie LingYeah. We kick off when you sign. We'll have an engineer on it daily, co-ordinate with Wei and your IT person, and we'll deliver and train.
- Arvind PillaiSo fifty-six, close date end of February, go live mid-April?
- Sophie LingThat's right. We sign the order form, we start Monday, eight weeks from kickoff.
- Arvind PillaiWho from your side is the main contact through implementation?
- Sophie LingThat would be Hannah, our solutions engineer. She'll own the connectors, the testing, the training. I'll be on quarterly calls with you to check in on value and make sure you're happy.
- Wei Ling TanThis makes sense to me. Arvind?
- Arvind PillaiYeah, I think so. We need this. One question, what happens if we need to scale down? Can we drop connectors or users?
- Sophie LingYou can make changes at renewal. Mid-contract, it's usually a conversation: if something's broken or you genuinely don't need it, we can talk. But the idea is you sign for twelve months at a time, so we can plan around it.
- Arvind PillaiFair. So next step is the order form?
- Sophie LingYes. I'll send it this afternoon. It's standard, Growth at fifty thousand, implementation twelve thousand, eight connectors, your team gets access. You review, flag anything, and once you're happy, you sign. We've got the close date in there, end of February, so we're good on timing.
- Wei Ling TanAnd you'll have Hannah join a kickoff call once we sign?
- Sophie LingAbsolutely. That's day one. Hannah, your IT lead, and me, we'll set up the environment, start pulling data. You'll see it come to life.
- Arvind PillaiPerfect. Let's move. Send the order form.
- Sophie LingWill do, today. Cheers, and speak soon.
