On 5 Jun 2025 Shaun Godley, Sales Director, saw the brain demoed on sample Salesforce, helpdesk and email data. He liked the follow-up search and asked about dashboards. A proposal was promised that day.

What happened: Hannah Lowe showed chat search across sample Salesforce, helpdesk and email records. Lewis Kerr quoted four weeks for Starter and said the proposal would go out that day.

Customer view: Shaun called the follow-up search useful and was reassured on security and control of what is indexed. He took the next step back to Diane Pashley, who was not on the call.

Commercial: Shaun asked about dashboards and a weekly sales scorecard was demoed. The dashboards builder is a Growth feature, so a Starter proposal needs to be clear about what it includes.

Watch: Diane appears to hold the commercial decision. The evidence does not show her view at this stage.

Hi Shaun. Good to see you. I've got Hannah with me, she's our Solutions Engineer. She'll walk us through the demo and answer any technical questions. Ready?
  2. Shaun Godley
    Shaun Godley
    Yep, let's go.
  3. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
Great. So I'll show you the brain running on data like yours. I've loaded in some sample Salesforce records, helpdesk tickets, and emails, nothing real, but structured the same way yours would be. The short answer is: you ask a question, the brain searches across all three systems at once, and gives you an answer. The longer answer involves a bit more detail on how it actually works.
  4. Shaun Godley
    Shaun Godley
    Go on.
  5. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
So first, the brain lives inside your Snowflake account. Your data doesn't go anywhere. We build an index on top of Salesforce, helpdesk, email, whatever you connect, and that index is what we query. It refreshes every night. So when you ask a question, it's searching that index, not hitting Salesforce directly every time.
  6. Lewis Kerr

    And the performance is quick.
  7. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
Yes. To be precise, most queries come back in under five seconds. If you're asking something very complex that needs to join a lot of data, maybe ten to fifteen seconds, but typically quite fast.
  8. Shaun Godley
    Shaun Godley
Good. So let me ask a question: if I search for 'all customers who bought something last month and haven't checked in since', what happens?
  9. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
So you'd type that into the chat. The brain would pull customers from Salesforce who match the purchase date, cross-check that against your email and helpdesk to see if there's been contact, and come back with a list. You could then export that list, or drill into each customer record to see what was last discussed.

That's really useful for follow-up. What about dashboards?
  11. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
We have a dashboard builder. So if you wanted to create a weekly sales scorecard: deals by stage, conversion rate, that kind of thing: you'd drag in some charts, point each one at the data you want, and it builds live. You don't need to write SQL or anything; it's point-and-click.
  12. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
And Diane could build that herself if she wanted to.
  13. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
Absolutely. Once we've shown her the basics during training, maybe ten minutes, she could put together a simple dashboard herself. If she wanted something more complex, she'd ask us, but for the standard stuff, it's self-service.
  14. Shaun Godley

What about security? Do you need access to our Salesforce credentials or anything?
  15. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
No. We use OAuth, so you grant BG-Demo permission to read from Salesforce, but you control that. You can revoke access anytime. For the helpdesk, it depends on the system, but we use standard API connections, very secure.
  16. Lewis Kerr

And if there's anything sensitive you don't want us to see, you can configure that too. So if there's a field in Salesforce you consider internal, we don't index it.
  17. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
Yes. The short answer is: you stay in control of what gets indexed.
  18. Shaun Godley
    Shaun Godley
That's reassuring. So what's next from here?
  19. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
We'll send you a proposal with the pricing and implementation timeline. You have a look, run it past Diane, and we'll schedule a proposal call to walk through any questions. Then if you're happy, we move to the order form and kick off implementation.
  20. Shaun Godley
    Shaun Godley
How long will that take from order to live?
  21. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
Four weeks for Starter. So if you sign in mid-June, you'd be live by mid-July.
  22. Shaun Godley
    Shaun Godley
Good. I'll get back to Diane and we'll chat.
  23. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
Perfect. I'll get the proposal out today.
  24. Hannah Lowe

    Thanks Shaun.
