Demo on 24 Jun 2024 for Gillian Woolnough on Growth tier. Hannah Lowe showed HubSpot, Xero and production data. Tom Ashdown quoted fifty-six thousand all-in for year one. Gillian will consult her team.

What happened: Hannah showed revenue by product line and customer margin from the customer's own data. Gillian asked about freshness, user numbers, the production connector and timeline.

Customer view: She called the customer-level margin view excellent and accepted nightly refresh as enough. She did not commit and said she would talk to her team.

Commercial: Growth gives forty users and eight connectors, with quarterly QBRs. Tom quoted fifty-six thousand all-in for year one, with implementation of about eight weeks.

Watch: Gillian was the only customer attendee, so buying authority is not shown. A read-only production connector already runs hourly, which suggests BG-Demo has done work ahead of signature.

Right, Gillian, thanks for having us back. I've brought Hannah along, she's our solutions engineer and she's going to walk you through what this actually looks like on your data. Hannah.
  2. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
Thanks, Tom. Hi Gillian. So we've been looking at your HubSpot data, your Xero financials, and we've actually managed to get a read on your production system as well. I'm going to show you a demo of what the brain looks like when we've plugged all that in. The short answer is you ask a question, you get an answer. The longer answer is let me show you.
  3. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
So I'm asking 'what's our total revenue by product line this year?'. And the brain's pulled every invoice from Xero, matched it to the product and the customer in HubSpot, and given me a breakdown and a chart. You can see soups are your biggest line, then sauces, then a bunch of other stuff.
  4. Gillian Woolnough
    Gillian Woolnough
Okay. And is this live data?
  5. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
The short answer is live, the longer answer is once a day. We refresh nightly, so by 07:00 tomorrow morning anything that happened today will be in the brain. For a food manufacturing operation, that's usually plenty.
  6. Gillian Woolnough
    Gillian Woolnough
Yeah, that'd do. Can I dig into this more? Like, if I want to see which customer ordered what?
  7. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
Yes. So I'm going to click into the soups line and ask 'show me every customer who ordered soups in the last quarter, how much they ordered, and the gross margin'. The brain's pulling that from HubSpot, Xero, and your production data, and here it is.
  8. Gillian Woolnough
    Gillian Woolnough
That's excellent. So I could actually see our most profitable customers?
  9. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
Exactly. And you could ask things like 'which customer has the highest margin and the lowest order volume?', 'which product line is seasonal?', anything like that. The more questions you ask, the better the brain gets at understanding your business.
  10. Tom Ashdown
    Tom Ashdown
The idea is, instead of you spending an hour every week building a spreadsheet, someone on your team just asks the brain, gets the answer in seconds, and can actually focus on the business.
  11. Gillian Woolnough
    Gillian Woolnough
What about if we need to connect our production system more tightly? You said you've done some work on that already?
  12. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
Yes. So we've built a read-only connector to your production database. It's live and it's pulling data hourly. If you want to tweak the connector or add more fields, that's a straightforward thing we can do. And if you want to integrate deeper in the future, like, real-time dashboards on the factory floor, we can design that in.
  13. Gillian Woolnough
    Gillian Woolnough
How many people could use this?
  14. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
On the Growth tier, you'd have forty users included. So your entire sales team, operations, finance, logistics, whoever needs to ask questions. And you'd have eight connectors available: you'd be using HubSpot, Xero, your production system, probably your call recorder if you have one, so you'd have a few left over if you want to plug in something else down the line.
  15. Tom Ashdown
    Tom Ashdown
And we'd do a quarterly QBR with you: a formal check-in to see how it's going, whether you need anything else, that kind of thing.
  16. Gillian Woolnough
    Gillian Woolnough
Okay. So what's the timeline? When could we be live?
  17. Hannah Lowe
    Hannah Lowe
If we can get paperwork sorted in the next couple of weeks, we'd want to start implementation immediately. The whole thing takes about eight weeks, so you'd be live by mid-August probably.
  18. Tom Ashdown
    Tom Ashdown
And the cost is fifty-six thousand all-in for the first year. That's the annual subscription plus the implementation. And then after that it's the annual fee every year.
  19. Gillian Woolnough
    Gillian Woolnough
Okay. Let me have a chat with the team and get back to you.
  20. Tom Ashdown
    Tom Ashdown
Perfect. I'll get a formal proposal to you by end of week. And if you have any questions before then, just give me a ring. Cheers, Gillian. Thanks, Hannah.

    Hannah Lowe
    Thanks, Gillian. Best, Hannah.
