What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Marcus Bell's 26 Feb 2026 check-in found active use up by about a fifth, questions spread across the stores and data current. Karin expects the CFO to ask about return at the renewal due from 1 Jun 2026.
What happened: Marcus walked Karin Sjöberg through last quarter's usage, one how-to ticket and the renewal date. The contract runs to 31 May 2026 and the new term starts on 1 Jun 2026.
Customer view: Karin said the store managers now trust the brain and some ask questions every week. Two managers built dashboards that others copied.
Commercial: Active users are in the mid-forties against a hundred and sixty seats, which Mats Eklund may question at renewal. Karin expects him to ask about the return and wants questions by store.
Watch: The managers want a simpler way to see one segment over time. Marcus has not yet checked whether a saved dashboard covers it.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Marcus Bell sends the usage and value summary, with questions by region and team, this week.
- Marcus checks whether a saved dashboard meets the segment request and books thirty minutes next week with the two dashboard builders.
- Tom Ashdown contacts Karin on the commercial side of the renewal.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The CFO will ask about return at renewal, and active users in the mid-forties sit well below the licensed seats.
- Question volume was concentrated in a few people earlier, so key-person risk could return if the spread fades.
- The saved segment request is unchecked and could become a frustration if left unanswered.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Dashboards built by two managers are spreading, which shows investment by the customer.
- A usage and value summary by region and team gives Karin material to take to Mats before renewal.
Transcript
- Marcus BellMorning, Karin. Can you hear me alright?
- Karin SjöbergGood morning, Marcus. Yes, I hear you well. How are you?
- Marcus BellGood thanks, bit grey in Manchester but nothing new there. How's it been in Stockholm?
- Karin SjöbergCold, and a little snow. But the office is warm, so I cannot complain.
- Marcus BellHa, fair. Right, I'm going to share my screen and walk through what I want to cover. I've pulled the numbers for the last quarter, so usage first, then the one ticket, then a look at the renewal. Can you see it?
- Karin SjöbergYes, I see the page with usage. It is clear.
- Marcus BellGreat. So the headline is that the number of people actually using the brain is up on last quarter by about a fifth. On average you've got mid-forties active in a month now, and that's against a hundred and sixty seats, which is where you ended up after the expansion.
- Karin SjöbergThat is good to hear. It matches what I see. The regional store teams started to use it after the training, and some of them ask questions every week now.
- Marcus BellYeah, that's the bit I wanted to ask about. If I go to the questions view, it's not just you and your team asking any more. It's spread across the stores, which is what you want. Last time I looked, a lot of it was concentrated in a few people.
- Karin SjöbergYes. I was worried about that, honestly. I was asking many of the questions myself, because the others were unsure. Now the managers have started to trust it.
- Marcus BellMm, that's a healthy shift. What do the stores say about it? Are they getting answers they act on?
- Karin SjöbergWhat do the stores say, yes, I ask them this too. The answer is that they like seeing what customers write after they bought furniture, for example delivery and assembly. Before, this was in the service system and nobody in the store saw it.
- Marcus BellRight, that's exactly the joining up you bought it for. Can I ask whether anyone's built dashboards themselves, or is it mostly chat and search still?
- Karin SjöbergMostly chat. Two of the managers built a dashboard for their region, and others copied it. I think more will come.
- Marcus BellLovely. I'll make a note of that, it shows people are investing in it. Now the records side. The nightly refresh has been landing on time and the connectors are all loading, nothing flat. So the data's current, which is the thing I check first.
- Karin SjöbergGood. We should anchor this, I think. If the stores see old data once, they do not come back. So I am happy about this.
- Marcus BellAgreed, and that's why I look at it every time. Now the ticket. There was one in the last month, a how-to question from one of the new users about sharing a page with a colleague. It was answered within the hour and closed. No drama.
- Karin SjöbergYes, I remember. It was one of the new store managers. The answer was good, he was happy.
- Marcus BellGood. So nothing outstanding there. Is there anything on your side that's been frustrating, anything the team has asked for that we haven't got to?
- Karin SjöbergLet me think. One thing. The managers would like a simpler way to see one segment over time, without asking the question again. Maybe it is already possible and we do not know.
- Marcus BellIt might be, with a saved dashboard. I don't want to promise something I haven't checked, so let me look at it properly and I'll send you a short note, or happy to jump on a call with one of the managers to show them.
- Karin SjöbergYes, that would be very kind. Maybe the two who built the dashboards. They can show others, then.
- Marcus BellGood idea, so it spreads from them rather than from us. I'll put thirty minutes in the diary for that, shall we say next week?
- Karin SjöbergNext week is good. I will ask them and tell you who can join.
- Marcus BellPerfect. Last thing, and I'll keep it light. Your contract runs to 31 May 2026 and the new term starts on 1 Jun 2026, so I'm going to be in touch properly about the renewal over the next few weeks. Nothing to decide today, I just don't want it to creep up on you or Mats.
- Karin SjöbergThank you for telling me. Mats will ask about the return, as he does for every supplier. So it is good that usage is up. Let us think about it together, with the numbers.
- Marcus BellThat's what I'd suggest. I'll put together a short summary of usage and value, the sort of thing you can pass on to Mats without having to explain it. And Tom will be in touch on the commercial side, I stay out of the price conversation.
- Karin SjöbergYes, of course. I appreciate it. And please include the questions by store, because Mats will like to see where it is used.
- Marcus BellWill do, by region and by team. Anything else from you, Karin?
- Karin SjöbergNo, I think that is everything. Thank you, Marcus. This was a good conversation.
- Marcus BellCheers, Karin. I'll send the invite and the summary this week. Speak soon.
- Karin SjöbergGoodbye, Marcus. Have a good day.
