What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Karin Sjöberg and Johan Berglund responded well to the demo. The web shop connector is Johan's open worry, and finance and IT must see the £129k draft figure before any decision.
What happened: Hannah Lowe demoed the brain on sample data on 19 Feb 2025, covering chat, connectors, dashboards and the store feedback view. Tom Ashdown then scoped Enterprise.
Customer view: Karin said the feedback view is very close to what she wanted. Johan is fairly positive but wants a clear answer on the web shop connector before he recommends it.
Commercial: Tom quoted £129k from the draft and promised it in writing. Karin cannot say yes alone, so finance and IT need a second demo.
Watch: Nordic-language feedback is untested, and Hannah wants real comments before calling it good. The evidence does not show whether the 18 Mar 2025 decision date held.

- Tom Ashdown NoneMorning, morning. Can you hear us all right? Karin, I can see you, there you are.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneGood morning, Tom. Yes, I can hear you well. How is everyone today?
- Tom Ashdown NoneNot bad at all, bit grey down here but no drama. How's your week been? Busy?
- Karin Sjöberg NoneBusy, yes. We had the store managers in Stockholm on Monday, so there is a lot of feedback to go through. Johan is joining us too, he should be on in a moment.
- Johan Berglund NoneI am here, sorry. My camera is taking a moment. Hello, everyone.
- Hannah Lowe NoneHello, Johan. Hannah here, I'm the solutions engineer. Before I share anything, what do you most need to know from today? I'd rather aim at that than walk you through every page.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneThank you. For me, it is whether we can see one view of each customer segment. Today customer service, e-commerce and the stores all keep their own numbers, and we argue about whose are right. What do the stores say, that is the question the board asks, and we cannot answer it quickly.
- Johan Berglund NoneFrom e-commerce, I want to know what we can ask without sending a request to the data team. Right now, if I want returns by product category together with the support contacts, it takes a week or so.
- Hannah Lowe NoneGood, that gives me two clear things to show. So the short answer is yes to both. The longer answer is that it depends on which sources we connect first, and I'll show you what that looks like on the sample data you sent over.
- Tom Ashdown NoneAnd just so we're all on the same page, this is the first proper look, yeah? Nobody's signing anything today. Let's get something in the diary for a second session afterwards if it's useful.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneYes, that is right. We should anchor this together with the others before we decide anything.
- Hannah Lowe NoneRight, I'm sharing my screen now. Tell me if it's too small. What you can see is the brain's home page for a demo workspace. It runs inside your own Snowflake account, so nothing is copied out to us. To be precise, the data stays where it is, and the brain reads it there.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneThat is important for us. Our IT people will ask about that first. Please continue.
- Hannah Lowe NoneSo here are the connectors. You have the helpdesk, the web shop data, the CRM and a folder of store survey exports. Each one has a status and a count of records indexed. When a source goes quiet you see it here, rather than finding out three weeks later.
- Johan Berglund NoneCan it take the web shop data directly, or do we need to export it every night?
- Hannah Lowe NoneIf it's already landing in Snowflake, it's a direct read. If it isn't, we'd set up a connector for the source system. I'd want to look at how your shop platform exposes data before promising a timeline, and I'll put that in writing.
- Johan Berglund NoneFine. Our platform team can answer that.
- Hannah Lowe NoneNow the part I think matters. I'll ask the chat a question in plain language. Let me type: which product categories have the most returns where the customer also contacted support in the same month.
- Hannah Lowe NoneIt's thinking, and there we are. A short answer, a table underneath, and the sources it used on the right. Each line links back to the record, so you can check it rather than trust it.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneMm. That is useful. Could it show this by segment, for example families furnishing a first home against customers who are renovating?
- Hannah Lowe NoneOnly if segments exist in your data. If your customer insight team defines them in the CRM, then yes, and we can build them as a saved view. If they live in a spreadsheet on someone's laptop, we'd bring that in first.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneSome of it is in the CRM and some of it is, well, with me. Let us think about it together, maybe I should send you the definitions.
- Tom Ashdown NoneThat'd be grand. Leave that with me and Hannah, we'll tell you what we need and nothing more.
- Hannah Lowe NoneLet me move on to dashboards. This is the builder. You pick a saved question, set how often it refreshes, and share it with a team. The nightly refresh finishes early in the morning, so store managers would see current numbers when they start work.
- Johan Berglund NoneWho can build these? Only the administrators, or could my team do it?
- Hannah Lowe NoneYour team could. Admins control who can see which sources, and anyone with access can build on top of that. So you stay in charge of permissions.
- Johan Berglund NoneGood. Then I would want to try it with my own category managers.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneOne question about the language. Our feedback arrives in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish. Does the brain handle that?
- Hannah Lowe NoneI don't want to overstate it. It reads and answers across languages reasonably well, but I'd test it on a sample of your real comments before I called it good. Could you send fifty or so? Actually, strike that, send what you comfortably can, and we'll run them.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneYes, I can do that. I will remove anything personal first.
- Tom Ashdown NoneCan I come in on the commercial side for a minute? Hannah, keep the screen up if you like.
- Karin Sjöberg NonePlease do.
- Tom Ashdown NoneSo, scoping this for the whole group, several teams and a good number of connectors, we'd be looking at Enterprise. The deal value we have pencilled in is £129,000. I'm going from the draft, so I'll confirm that in writing and break it down for you properly. I don't want you holding a number I've quoted off the top of my head.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneThank you. That is within what I expected, but I cannot say yes alone. Finance and IT will need to see it.
- Johan Berglund NoneAnd what does the Enterprise tier give us that the smaller ones do not? I have only seen the list quickly.
- Tom Ashdown NoneMore users and more connectors, single sign-on, an executive sponsor on our side and tighter service levels. Hannah can take you through the security review, which is part of how Enterprise works.
- Hannah Lowe NoneYes. It's a questionnaire plus a call with your IT team, and I do it myself. If there's a question I'm not certain of, I check with our security lead before answering. I won't guess.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneThat is reassuring. I will ask our IT lead to join the next session.
- Hannah Lowe NoneLet me use the last stretch to show the store feedback view, because I think it'll answer Karin's board question. Here's every survey comment, grouped by topic, tied to store and week, and next to it the support contacts for the same products.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneThis is very close to what I wanted. The stores would act on this. Would the store managers need training?
- Hannah Lowe NoneVery little. It's a search box and a page. We do training sessions, and I'd run the first one with you.
- Johan Berglund NoneI am fairly positive. My worry is the web shop connector, I would like a clear answer on that before I recommend it.
- Tom Ashdown NoneFair enough, no drama. Right, so next steps. Karin sends the segment definitions and a sample of comments. Johan gets us a contact on your platform team. Hannah writes up the connector options, and I send the commercial summary. We're aiming at Tuesday 18 March 2025 as a decision date, but only if it works for you.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneThat is fine. We should hold a second demo with finance and IT present, before then.
- Tom Ashdown NoneI'll find a slot and send it round. Thanks, both. Cheers, speak soon.
- Karin Sjöberg NoneThank you all. Vänliga hälsningar, goodbye.
