What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Early onboarding call with Emma Jagger, the Snowflake admin. She wants to start with CRM and calls. Laura Penhaligon set out the Growth connector headroom, a three to five day go-live and the 07:00 nightly refresh.
What happened: Laura Penhaligon and Emma Jagger agreed to start with the CRM and calls connectors. Emma will arrange the CRM service account with her CRM admin by the end of the week.
Customer view: Emma is positive and keen to get the brain live, and her questions are practical: which connector first, how long it takes, and what to do if something breaks.
Commercial: Growth gives eight connectors, so there is plenty of headroom. Laura promised a training session once connectors are live.
Watch: Only Emma, a Business Systems Analyst, was on the call, so no senior sponsor is visible yet. The evidence does not show who will use the brain day to day.

- Laura PenhaligonHi Emma, thanks for joining. How's your week been?
- Emma JaggerGood, thanks. Busy with the usual, but we're looking forward to getting the brain live.
- Laura PenhaligonExcellent. Right, so we've got a couple of tickets in from the weekend. Looks like there are questions about which connectors to prioritise and when we're going to start pulling data in. Does that sound about right?
- Emma JaggerYeah, that's basically it. We've got our CRM and calls data, just trying to figure out which to start with.
- Laura PenhaligonOkay, so you're on Growth, which gives you eight connectors in total, so you've got plenty of headroom. I'd suggest starting with CRM and calls, those tend to give the most immediate value.
- Emma JaggerRight, that makes sense. And how long does it take to get a connector live once we've given you access?
- Laura PenhaligonSo typically three to five days, depending on whether there are any API quirks we need to work around. The CRM is usually straightforward, I just need a service account from your side and we're away. You're the admin on the Snowflake account, yeah?
- Emma JaggerYeah, that's me. I can sort out the service account with our CRM admin by end of week.
- Laura PenhaligonPerfect. Once you've sent that through, I'll test it on my end and get it live. Then the brain will start indexing your data, and every night it'll refresh. By seven in the morning your local time, you'll have everything fresh from the night before.
- Emma JaggerGreat. And we just start asking questions once it's live, is that right?
- Laura PenhaligonExactly. That's where the real value sits. Once you've got a couple of weeks of data in there, you can start seeing patterns. But we'll do a proper training session once the connectors are live. That'll be in a few weeks.
- Emma JaggerOkay. And if anything breaks or stops working, we just raise a ticket?
- Laura PenhaligonYep, raise a ticket or ping me directly. Either way works. I've got you in my list and I'm checking in regularly, so if something's gone wrong I'll probably notice it first. But do let me know if you spot anything odd with the data.
- Emma JaggerWill do. I think that covers it for today.
- Laura PenhaligonBrilliant. I'll send you an email in a minute with the next steps and what we need from you. The CRM service account is the priority. After that, we'll get the connector live and take it from there.
- Emma JaggerPerfect, cheers.
- Laura PenhaligonCheers, Emma. Speak soon.
