What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Searching for a commissioner name returned calls from other commissioners. Root cause was search indexing not scoping to the correct field; fix planned for next release.
Problem: searching for a specific commissioner returned calls where the name appeared in unrelated fields, especially when mentioned multiple times. Handling: Olivia reproduced the issue and identified that search indexing was not scoping to the commissioner_id field correctly; engineering committed to a fix in the next release.

- created · Stephanie Lowes 18 Nov 2025 12:29Hi, we've been using the brain for a couple of months now and it's been working well overall. However, I've noticed a bug: when I search for calls mentioning a specific commissioner contact, the results sometimes include calls from other commissioners. The search logic doesn't seem to be filtering correctly. This is making it hard to pull specific conversation histories. Can you look into this? Thanks, Stephanie
- Public reply · Stephanie Lowes 18 Nov 2025 13:43I also noticed it seems to happen when the commissioner name appears more than once in a call. Like if the name is mentioned in both the body and the metadata. Just wanted to add that detail.
- Internal note · Olivia Grant 18 Nov 2025 16:38Reproduced the issue. Searching for commissioner name returns calls where name appears in unrelated fields. Root cause: search indexing not scoping to the commissioner_id field correctly. Escalating to engineering.
- Public reply · Olivia Grant 18 Nov 2025 18:17Hi Stephanie, Thanks for the extra detail. I've identified the issue and our engineering team is working on a fix. This will be resolved in the next release. Apologies for the inconvenience. Olivia
