Craig Paterson asked for clarification on pro-rata billing for the Growth tier upgrade. Bethan Lister explained the calculation method and customer approved, then Craig asked about tracking usage against tier limits.

Problem: Craig needed confirmation that the pro-rata invoice calculation was correct before finance approval. Handling: Bethan walked through the methodology; customer accepted the explanation. Watch: Craig's follow-up question about tracking usage against tier limits suggests growing interest in capacity monitoring.

Hi. We've just upgraded to the Growth tier, and I wanted to check on the invoicing for that. We were expecting the invoice to be pro-rated for the remainder of our contract year, but I want to make sure the calculation is right before I send it to finance. Can someone walk me through how the billing worked for the upgrade? Regards, Craig

Hi Craig. I've picked this up. The Growth plan is invoiced annually in advance, and when you upgrade mid-contract, we pro-rate the difference between what you've already paid for Starter and the full year of Growth. Your finance team should have the invoice with that breakdown. What's the discrepancy you're seeing, if any? Thanks, Bethan.

Thanks Bethan. The invoice looks right. We just wanted to confirm the methodology before we approved it internally. All good. Regards, Craig.

Perfect. Just so you know, your annual renewal will be the full amount in April next year, and that'll renew automatically unless you need to discuss terms beforehand. Happy to help with any other questions. Thanks, Bethan.

Got it. Out of interest, is there a way to track usage against the tier limits? Just want to keep an eye on whether we'll need to add connectors or users as we grow. Regards, Craig.
