What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Logistical thread: Callie Brennan offers kickoff slots and Harjit Bains picks Wednesday at 10:00. He asks for a note listing the sources beforehand so he can describe it accurately to the client.
Ask: Callie wanted an hour with Harjit and the day-to-day owner to agree sources, owners and prerequisites before the first refresh.
Customer view: Harjit accepted quickly and wants the kickoff before a trustee meeting. He works to a rule of "No surprises for the client" and may bring in the data protection officer.
Next: Callie to send the source list ahead of the call and the invite.

- Callie Brennan 24 Aug 2023 09:01Hi Harjit, Thanks for your time on the last call. Before we switch on anything, I would like to get the kickoff in the diary so we can agree the plan together. What I need from your side is a slot of about an hour with you and whoever will look after the system day to day. Next week I could do Tuesday or Wednesday morning, say 10:00, or Thursday afternoon at 14:00. I will use the hour to walk through the sources you want connected, who owns each one, and what has to be in place before the first refresh. If you can tell me which of those slots suits, I will send the invite straight away. Thanks, Callie
- Harjit Bains 25 Aug 2023 17:53Hi Callie, Thank you, that is very clear. Wednesday at 10:00 works for me. I have a trustee meeting coming up later that week, so I would rather have the kickoff done before then and know where we stand. I will ask our systems analyst to join as well, and I may bring in our data protection officer for the first part, as she will want to hear what is being connected. Could you send a short note beforehand listing the sources? No surprises for the client is the rule I work to, so I would like to be able to describe it accurately. Kind regards, Harjit
