What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Valerie Okon will not open a renewal discussion until the outstanding invoice is resolved, and any renewal must go to the board. She accepts a short usage call with no terms. Marcus Bell agreed and held Priya Raman back.
Ask: Marcus Bell chased a renewal call for the 22 Aug 2026 date, covering usage, what would help credit control and the project teams, and renewal terms with Priya Raman.
Customer view: Valerie Okon will not discuss renewal in earnest until the invoice is resolved and cannot sign anything new without the board. She offered only a short call on usage and needs.
Next: Marcus agreed no terms would be on the table, kept Priya out and passed the invoice comments to finance. He proposed early the following week; the thread does not show the call or the renewal outcome.

- Marcus Bell 29 Jun 2026 15:10Hi Valerie, Following up on our last conversation. I know there's a lot on your plate, but the renewal date of 22 Aug 2026 is getting closer and I don't want it to arrive without us having talked it through properly. What I'd like to cover: - how your teams are using the brain at the moment and where it has gone quiet - what would make it more useful for credit control and the project teams - the renewal terms, with Priya Raman joining for that part Shall we book half an hour this week or early next? Happy to work around your diary. Thanks, Marcus
- Valerie Okon 1 Jul 2026 11:16Marcus, I have seen your note. I would prefer to be honest about where we are. The outstanding invoice has not yet been resolved internally, and until it is I do not want to open a renewal discussion in earnest. Any renewal would also have to go to the board, and I cannot sign anything new without them. I can give you a short call, on the understanding that it is to talk about how the system is being used and what we need, not to agree terms. Valerie Okon
- Marcus Bell 3 Jul 2026 08:03Hi Valerie, That's fair, and thank you for the straight answer. A short call on usage and what you need is exactly what I'd suggest, with no terms on the table. I'll keep Priya out of it for now and let her know where things stand, so nothing commercial comes your way before you're ready. On the invoice, I've passed your comments to our finance team so they're aware. Could you do early next week, in the afternoon? If you give me a day, I'll send an invite straight away. Thanks, Marcus
