Current to 13 Oct 26After a third reminder from Nell Ashcombe, Debbie Rowntree replied that the £14k invoice is approved with no query but not yet in a payment run. She will confirm a date and look at the second open invoice.
Ask: Nell chased the 12 Aug 2024 Growth subscription invoice, due 11 Sep 2024, and tied it to Craig's reason for buying the brain.
Customer view: Debbie apologises and says there is no query on the amount or VAT. The delay is an internal payment-run step, so this looks like a process lag, not a value dispute.
Next: Debbie will confirm the payment date by the end of the week and review both August invoices together.

- Nell Ashcombe 28 Oct 2024 12:28Hi Debbie, I'm writing myself because this is now our third reminder and I'd rather you heard from me than got another automated note. The invoice we issued on 12 Aug 2024 for your Growth subscription is still showing as unpaid. The net amount is £12,000, VAT is £2,400, so £14,400 in total. It fell due on 11 Sep 2024, which means it has been outstanding for some weeks. Could you tell me where it has got to on your side? If there is a query on the invoice, or it needs a PO number or a different contact to be approved, say so and we will put it right straight away. If it is simply waiting in a payment run, a date is all I need. I know Craig brought the brain in so your teams could see each client together, and I would like the paperwork not to get in the way of that. Best, Nell
- Debbie Rowntree 30 Oct 2024 13:20Hi Nell, Thanks for writing directly, and apologies that it has needed a third reminder. That one should have been dealt with before now. I have checked and the invoice for £14,400 is approved on our side but has not gone into a payment run yet. There is no query on the amount or on the VAT, so you do not need to change anything. I have asked for it to go into the next run and will confirm the date by the end of the week. I have also seen there is a second invoice from August that is open. I will look at both together so you are not chasing us twice.
