What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26After the QBR, Andrew Sugden, the CFO, questioned the £40k a year, asking how many of the forty users are active weekly and what it costs to add the rest. Marcus Bell said more users inside the 40 cost nothing extra.
Ask: Andrew wants proof the account is using what it pays for, and a cost in the plan if getting the rest on has one. Marcus gave no exact split, as it depends on Imran's list of account managers without logins.
Customer view: This is a value question from the finance owner, not a complaint. The contract runs to 10 Apr 2026, and Lewis Kerr was copied to pick up renewal terms nearer the time.
Next: Marcus offered half an hour to agree rollout order. A clear usage split is the evidence Andrew needs before renewal.

- Marcus Bell 3 Sep 2025 17:47Hi all, Thanks for your time today. A short note of what we covered, so we have it in writing. What the numbers showed: - usage is up on last quarter, with the account managers on the collections side asking most of the questions - there were no high priority tickets and no overdue invoices - you are licensed for 40 users and a smaller group than that is active day to day, so there is room to bring more people on Actions: - Imran to send me the list of account managers who do not yet have a login - Nicola to pick the depot she wants as the first example for the round-by-round view - me to put together a short usage summary you can reuse internally The contract runs to 10 Apr 2026. Lewis is copied so he is aware, and he will pick up renewal terms with Andrew nearer the time. Nothing needed from anyone on that yet. Thanks, Marcus
- Andrew Sugden 3 Sep 2025 18:28Marcus, Thanks for the note. At £39,600 a year I want to be sure we are using what we pay for. How many of the forty are using it each week, and what does it take to get the rest on? Put it in the plan if there is a cost attached. Andrew Sugden
- Marcus Bell 4 Sep 2025 13:39Hi Andrew, Fair question. Weekly active users are a minority of the forty at the moment, and I would rather give you the exact split once Imran has sent me the login list than guess in an email. On cost: more users inside the 40 licensed costs nothing extra, so getting the rest on is a rollout job, not a purchase. It is mostly Nicola's team agreeing who goes first and Imran creating the logins. I'm happy to run a short walkthrough for each group of account managers. Shall we book half an hour next week with you, Nicola and Imran to agree the order? Once we have the split, I'll send it over with the usage summary. Thanks, Marcus
