What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Sofia Marchetti wrote to Simon Achterberg, Carnmoor's CIO, who is reviewing everything the business pays for. He agreed to a call, asked for the architecture and support facts, and wants a written summary, not slides.
Ask: Sofia offered thirty minutes with no selling, to explain how the brain sits in Carnmoor's Snowflake account. Simon accepted and set the terms: architecture diagram, what runs where, who supports it out of hours.
Customer view: He wants one platform, not five, and will ask what the brain overlaps with. He treats a roadmap as no commitment and any decision would follow a written options paper.
Next: Sofia committed to a written summary before the Thursday call at 10:00, covering only what exists today, and will bring the diagram. Amara Obi may join.

- Sofia Marchetti 13 Aug 2026 14:55Dear Simon, I am Head of Customer Success at BB-Demo and I look after the team that supports Carnmoor. I understand you joined in May with a brief to simplify the company's systems and data platforms, and that you are reviewing everything the business pays for. That is a sensible thing to do and I would like to help you do it with the facts in front of you. I would welcome thirty minutes with you. I would not be selling anything. I would explain how the brain is set up inside your own Snowflake account, what is connected to it, and how it is supported, so that you can judge where it sits and whether it earns its place. Would a call next week suit you? Best regards, Sofia Marchetti Head of Customer Success, BB-Demo
- Simon Achterberg 14 Aug 2026 13:39Dear Sofia, Thank you for the note, and for being so clear about the purpose. I am happy to speak. I would ask that you bring the architecture diagram, or at least a description of what runs where. My questions will be where this sits in our target architecture, and who supports it at two in the morning. I am looking for one platform, not five, so I will be asking what it overlaps with. I should say that I do not take a roadmap as a commitment, so I would prefer what exists today. And any decision on my side would follow a written options paper, so a short written summary beforehand would be more useful to me than slides. Thursday morning is the best part of next week for me. Simon
- Sofia Marchetti 17 Aug 2026 12:56Dear Simon, Thank you, that is very helpful. Here is what we will do. Before Thursday I will send you a short written summary covering what is connected today, how the nightly refresh and support work for your tier, and what is held inside your Snowflake account. It will describe what exists now and nothing planned. I will bring the architecture diagram to the call. Let's say Thursday at 10:00, thirty minutes. If that moves, tell me and I will fit around you. I will invite Amara Obi, who knows the day-to-day usage best, unless you would rather it was just the two of us. Best regards, Sofia Marchetti
