On 10 Nov 2025 Daniel Okafor gave formal renewal notice for the Growth subscription. Finance Director Hamish Crawford replied that he could not justify the spend without a usage case for the board, and asked not to rush.

Ask: Daniel gave notice that the term ends 8 Feb 2026 and proposed settling by 5 Jan 2026. Growth tier, £44k a year, 40 licensed users.

Customer view: Hamish did not engage on price or terms. He asked who is actually using the brain and said he needs to show the board a usage case.

BG-Demo reply: Daniel said around eleven of the 40 licensed users are active in a typical month and promised a summary of who asks what by the end of the following week.

Next: The renewal rests on a value case, not a price discussion. The thread does not show the summary being sent.

Dear Hamish, Just to let you know that your current subscription runs until 8 Feb 2026, so this is our formal renewal notice, a few months ahead as agreed in the contract. You have the Growth tier at £44,000 a year, with 40 licensed users. The team has been using the brain a good deal more this autumn than last, and I'm happy with how the scheme relationship managers are finding it. I'd like us to settle the renewal in good time, ideally by 5 Jan 2026, so nothing is left to the last minute over the holidays. Priya is copied in for the commercial side. Could you let me know who else at Kelvinhaugh should be involved in the decision? Best wishes, Daniel

Daniel, Thank you for the notice. Before we go further, who is actually using it? I would need to be able to show the board a usage case, as I can't justify the spend otherwise. Let's not rush. Hamish Crawford

Hello Hamish, That's fair, and thank you for coming back so quickly. To be straightforward with you: of the 40 licensed users, around eleven are active in a typical month, mostly the scheme relationship managers, and that number has been climbing quarter on quarter. I'll put together a short summary showing who is asking questions and what they are asking about, so you have something concrete to take to the board. I'll come back to you by the end of next week with that, and then we can talk the renewal through at whatever pace suits you. Best wishes, Daniel
