What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Daniel Okafor told Finance Director Philip Annear that about nine of 50 licensed users are active. Philip said he cannot defend that number at renewal and asked who uses it, what it saves, and for findings before the board.
Ask: After the 19 Aug 2026 check-in, Daniel reported falling activity, one higher-priority ticket and one other query. He offered to study how account managers use the brain and report back by the end of the following week.
Customer view: Philip appreciated the candour but set a clear test. He wants who is using it and what it saves before he will support renewal.
Next: Philip asked for the renewal in good time and for the findings before anything goes to the board.

- Daniel Okafor 19 Aug 2026 15:49Dear Philip, Thank you for making the time to speak today. Just to close the loop on what we covered. First, usage. Fewer people have been active in the brain over the last quarter than the one before, and we are down to about nine regular users against 50 licensed users. I would rather you heard that from me than found it on a report. Second, there was a higher-priority ticket recently and one other query. Both are being handled by our support team, and I will keep an eye on them until they are closed. Third, I would like to spend some time with the account managers to understand where the brain fits into their week and where it does not. I'll come back to you by the end of next week with what I find. Your contract runs to 27 Dec 2026, so there is time to get this right before we talk about renewal. Best wishes, Daniel
- Philip Annear 19 Aug 2026 16:58Daniel, Thanks for the note, and for being straightforward about it. About nine people out of 50 is not a number I can defend at renewal. Who's using it, and what does it save us? That is what I will need to see. Send me the renewal in good time, and please let me have your findings before anything goes to the board. Philip Annear
