Ask: Tom Ashdown wanted a discovery call on how intermediary distribution works with broker firms. Morag agreed a slot and will bring one business development manager.
Customer view: she wants the problem agreed before any solution, and she cannot promise a date for anything until supplier risk is cleared.
Next: Tom will bring a note on what BB-Demo usually provides for that review and confirm detail in writing.

- Tom Ashdown 4 Mar 2026 16:04Hi Morag, Thanks for making time for this. I'd like to get a discovery call in the diary so I can understand how your intermediary distribution team works with broker firms today, and what you'd want from a single view of each one. I've got room next week. Tuesday at 10:00, Wednesday at 14:00 or Thursday at 11:00 would all suit me. About an hour should do it. If it's useful, bring a business development manager or two. They'll know the day to day better than I will. No drama if you'd rather keep the first one to just us. Let me know which slot works and leave the invite with me. Best, Tom
- Morag Cowie 4 Mar 2026 18:54Hello Tom, Thanks for the options. Tuesday at 10:00 suits me. I'll bring one of the business development managers, the one who looks after most of our larger broker firms. Let's not overcomplicate it for a first conversation. I'd rather we agreed what the problem is before anyone talks about a solution. One thing to flag early: anything involving a new supplier goes through our supplier-risk process, so I'd want to understand what you'd need from us for that, and roughly how long it takes on your side. I can't promise a date for anything until that is done. Kind regards, Morag
- Tom Ashdown 4 Mar 2026 19:41Morag, Tuesday at 10:00 it is. I'll send the invite tonight. Understood on supplier risk. That's sensible, and it's better to know about it now than to find out later. I'll bring a note on what we usually provide for that kind of review so you can see what it involves before we get anywhere near it. I'll confirm any detail in writing rather than quote it from memory. And agreed on the first call: problem first, solution after. Cheers, Tom
