What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Several connectors failed authentication after Delancey Haig withdrew credentials deliberately on the CTO's instruction, as systems move to an in-house warehouse. BG-Demo will not reissue them; indexed data stays but will no longer refresh.
Ask: Holly Tranter asked whether the credentials could be reissued, then asked what the withdrawal means for the connectors and tickets.
Customer view: the decision is intended and agreed by Anjali Desai, so these were not faults. Dominic Hale switched the affected connectors off and will close the tickets with a note.
Next: Daniel Okafor leads the conversation on how the brain is used from here. Views built on those sources will go stale over time.

- Holly Tranter 17 Mar 2026 10:24Hi Dominic, I'm the admin on our side for the brain. Since yesterday several of our connectors have been showing authentication errors in the admin pages and the records indexed haven't moved. I raised the ticket this morning. I think the service credentials for those connectors were withdrawn on our side, but I wasn't part of the decision and I don't have the detail. Anjali is copied as she looks after access for us. Can you confirm from your end what you are seeing, and whether the credentials can be reissued? A couple of directors are already asking why their client views look stale. Thanks, Holly
- Dominic Hale 17 Mar 2026 12:10Hi Holly, hi Anjali, I've taken ownership of this. Here's what we know. The connectors in question are failing at the authentication step, and the failures started when the credentials stopped being accepted. Nothing has changed in the brain itself, and the data already indexed is intact and still answering questions. What it can't do is refresh from those sources. What I don't know is whether the withdrawal was intended. I'd rather not reissue anything until one of you confirms that, as I don't want to put access back that your security team has deliberately taken away. Could you confirm, please: was this withdrawn on purpose, and should it be put back? I'm copying Daniel so he is in the picture. Next update by tomorrow lunchtime. Thanks, Dominic
- Holly Tranter 18 Mar 2026 09:48Dominic, Thanks for being careful about this. Anjali and I have now checked, and I can confirm the credentials were withdrawn deliberately, on the CTO's instruction. Those systems are moving to our in-house warehouse, and the connectors that read from them should no longer have access. So please don't reissue them. Anjali agrees, and she'll tell you if that changes, but I wouldn't expect it to. Could you let us know what that means for the connectors and for the tickets I raised? I'll need to tell the directors something sensible. Thanks, Holly
- Dominic Hale 20 Mar 2026 11:32Hi Holly, hi Anjali, Thank you both for confirming. Understood: the credentials stay withdrawn and we will not reissue them. Here's where that leaves us. The affected connectors will remain switched off, so they stop raising authentication errors. What is already indexed from them stays in the brain and will keep answering, but it will no longer refresh, so those views will go out of date over time. Your other connectors are unaffected. I'll close the connector tickets with a note recording the decision, so nobody picks them up as faults. Daniel is copied and will be in touch with you about what this means for how you use the brain going forward. That conversation is his to lead, not mine. If anything else on your side changes, tell me and I'll look at it the same day. Thanks, Dominic
