Ask: Nell asks Desmond to say whether the invoice is paid, scheduled or wrong. She allows that BG-Demo may have made the error.

Customer view: there is no customer response in the thread, so the reason for non-payment is not shown.

Next: the evidence does not show whether it was paid later. The invoice is the only figure here and says nothing about the subscription or renewal.

Hello Desmond, A short note about the invoice we issued on 20 Jun 2024. It was due on 20 Jul 2024 and our records show it as unpaid. For reference: - net amount: £12,000 - VAT: £2,400 - gross amount: £14,400 There may be a perfectly ordinary reason. It could be sitting in an approval queue, or it may have gone to the wrong mailbox. I'd rather ask than assume. Could you tell me one of three things: that it has been paid and when, so we can match the remittance; that it's scheduled and roughly when; or that something on the invoice is wrong. If it's the last one, say what and I'll sort it out. If we got something wrong, that one's on us. We started working together on 3 Jul 2024 and I'd like the paperwork to stay as tidy as the rollout. Thanks for your help with it. Best, Nell
