After a call on 11 Apr 2025, Laura Penhaligon proposed a connector session. Tariq Saleem chose Wednesday afternoon, asked which connector to start with and promised notes on trade account identifiers. Logistical thread.

Ask: Laura wants to go through the branch system and CRM connectors one at a time, because account matching matters most there. She also asked for any note on how trade accounts are identified.

Customer view: Tariq is cooperative but cautious. He wants to review the load logs first so the matching is not guessed at.

Next: Tariq to pull the logs before Wednesday and send his trade account write-up. Laura to answer his question on connector order.

Hi Tariq, Thanks for your time on the call this morning. It was useful to hear how the branch system and the CRM currently line up, and I think we have a clear enough picture to plan the next working session. What I would like to do is sit down with you next week and go through the connectors one at a time, starting with the branch system and the CRM, since that is where the account matching matters most. I would also like to agree the order we bring the remaining sources in, so nothing lands in the brain before you are happy with how it maps. Could you let me know whether Tuesday or Wednesday suits you better, and roughly how long you can spare? A couple of hours should be enough for a first pass, but I am happy to split it if that is easier around your day job. It would also help if you could send me anything you already have on how trade accounts are identified in the branch system, even if it is only a rough note. Thanks, Laura Implementation Consultant, BG-Demo

Hi Laura, Wednesday is better for me. Tuesday I am tied up with a CRM release. Afternoon would be ideal, and I can give you the full afternoon if we need it. One thing before we meet. When you say go through the connectors, which connector do you want to start with, the branch system or the CRM? They are loaded differently, and I would rather not guess at how the matching behaves until I have looked at the load log for each. I will pull the logs together before Wednesday so we are working from what actually ran and not from memory. On the trade account identifiers, I will write up what we have. It is a mapping question more than a data quality one, so it will take me a short while to describe properly. I will send it over tomorrow or early next week. Cheers, Tariq
