As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Laura Penhaligon summarised the kickoff: first aim, Bas Vermeulen as admin, and three systems to start with. Bas confirmed the summary but still needs an IT role check before Snowflake access and asked whether CRM read access is enough.
Ask: Laura needs confirmation of who can grant Snowflake access and the owners of the CRM, helpdesk and call recorder.
Customer view: Bas agreed the summary matched the call and is cooperative. Access depends on a colleague in IT, and he will send owner names once they agree to be contacts.
Next: Laura needs to answer the CRM read or admin question. The 40 user licence means a staged rollout to account managers.

What we agreed: - The first aim is that account managers can see a shipper account, its exception tickets and its calls in one place. - Bas will be the main technical contact on your side and will be the admin for the brain. - We start with the CRM, the helpdesk and the call recorder, and look at the rest once those are loading properly. - Your licence covers 40 users, so we will plan the rollout to the account managers in stages rather than all at once. What I need from Bas: confirmation of who can grant us access to the Snowflake account, and the names of the people who own each of the three systems. Marcus is copied as your customer success manager and will stay in touch after the build. Thanks, Laura
- Bas Vermeulen 4 Apr 2025 16:55Hi Laura, Thanks for the summary, it matches how I remember the call. I can arrange the Snowflake access myself, but I need to check the role setup with a colleague in IT first. I will come back to you early next week. For the three systems: the CRM and the helpdesk each have an owner in our commercial team, and the call recorder is looked after by a colleague in IT. I will send you the names once I have confirmed they are happy to be contacts. One question: do you need admin rights in the CRM, or is read access enough for the first load? Regards, Bas
