What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Lewis Kerr set out a co-termed proposal walkthrough against a £58k subscription. Gemma Holt wants customer service priced separately, asked how many of her 60 licensed users are free, and needs her manager to approve.
Ask: Lewis wants a walkthrough, with anyone else who should join. He states the current contracted subscription as £58k a year and says additions will be co-termed to the 4 Jan 2027 renewal.
Customer view: Gemma wants the customer service cost on its own so she can show it. She does not want to pay for seats already held and cannot sign off alone.
Next: Lewis confirms free licensed users and builds a separate line for customer service. Her manager should be at the walkthrough.

- Lewis Kerr 24 Sep 2026 13:01Hi Gemma, Thanks for the time on the call. To put a number on it, I'd like to take the proposal through with you properly, rather than just send a document and leave you to decode it. A few points so you know what to expect. Anything we add will be co-termed to your renewal on 4 Jan 2027, so you will have one date and one invoice cycle to think about. Your current contracted subscription is £58,000 a year, and the proposal will show the change against that figure clearly. Everything is written with the VAT position stated, so there are no surprises at your end. Could you let me know a couple of times that suit you for a walkthrough, and whether anyone else should join? I know you'll want to run this past your manager, so it may help to have them there. I'll send that over today once I have a time from you. Kind regards, Lewis
- Gemma Holt 28 Sep 2026 09:52Hi Lewis, Thanks, and sorry for the delay, it was a long week. A walkthrough would help. Tuesday or Wednesday this week would work, ideally mid-morning. I'll ask my manager to join, as I can't sign anything off on my own. One thing I'd like in the proposal: what it would cost to add the customer service team, set out separately from anything else, so I can show it on its own. Also, can you confirm how many of our 60 licensed users are free today? I don't want to pay for seats we already have. Cheers, Gemma
