Daniel Okafor 2 Jan 2026 16:30Dear Douglas, Further to our exchange earlier today, I'm writing formally to say that Lornefield's Growth subscription, currently £44,000 a year for 40 licensed users, comes up for renewal on 2 Apr 2026. We have opened the renewal on our side, with a view to agreeing it by 2 Feb 2026. I've copied Nell Ashcombe, who owns the Lornefield relationship at BB-Demo. We'd be glad to set out what the team has been using, answer any questions you or the group have, and talk through options. How is the team finding it at the moment? I'd value your view before we put anything on paper. Best wishes, Daniel

The group's position is that renewals of this kind need its agreement, and I am not in a position to give you an answer, or to make a promise on the group's behalf, at present. I have passed your note to the colleague handling the review and I would not like to hurry that. I appreciate that your timetable is a fixed one, and I would be grateful if you would bear with us. There is no wish on our part to hurry anyone, and I understand that the group needs to take its own view. To keep things simple, I'll leave the renewal open on our side and look to hear from you once the review has progressed. If it would help your colleague, I'm happy to put together a short note on how the brain has been used at Lornefield, and Nell is available to speak with them directly.
