Current to 13 Oct 26Veldmaat's Finance Controller will not pay the disputed invoice, in whole or in part, until a credit note arrives. BG-Demo accepted on 3 Aug 2026 that the invoice should follow the executed order form. The thread does not show the credit note issued.
Ask: Elena Novak told Annelies de Vries on 3 Aug 2026 that a credit note would reach her within two weeks and that she should not pay meanwhile.
Customer view: Annelies replied on 6 Aug 2026 that a written commitment does not close the matter in her ledger. She will review her position if nothing arrives within that period.
Next: this is a money dispute caused by BG-Demo's own billing, not a stated value complaint. The evidence does not show whether the credit note was issued, so the first step is to check that and send it directly to Annelies.

- Elena Novak 3 Aug 2026 16:48Dear Annelies, I am writing to follow up on the invoice you queried, and to confirm where we are. To confirm: 1. We accept that the invoice should be read against the executed order form, with annual recurring revenue of £45,000 for 40 licensed users. 2. A credit note will be issued to correct the difference. 3. As agreed with you, I will make sure that the credit note reaches you within two weeks. I am sorry that this has taken longer than it should. Please do not pay the invoice in the meantime. Kind regards, Elena
- Annelies de Vries 6 Aug 2026 14:10Dear Elena, Thank you for your email of 3 Aug 2026. I note the commitment that a credit note will be issued within two weeks. For the avoidance of doubt, our position is unchanged. The invoice remains disputed and will not be paid, in whole or in part, until a credit note is received. A written commitment is noted, but it does not close the matter in our ledger. Please send the credit note directly to me when it is issued. We will review our position if nothing has arrived by the end of that period. Kind regards, Annelies de Vries Finance Controller
