What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Final onboarding plan dated 25 Nov 2025 for the Growth tier, built around one installer view. It lists the £44k annual subscription, 40 licensed users and a contract end of 23 Nov 2026. It is a plan, not a contract.
What it is: a BG-Demo onboarding plan prepared by Laura Penhaligon, Implementation Consultant, in four phases from kick-off to go-live. Its goal is that "account managers can see each installer's orders, delivery complaints and credit queries in one view".
Commits: it names owners for each activity and a weekly check-in during onboarding. It also says changes to scope are "agreed in writing before work starts".
Unusual: nothing off the standard terms. The subscription figure and the contract end are stated as facts of the engagement, with no service levels, credits or notice terms.
Not settled: the plan gives no dates for the phases or for go-live. It does not state the order form terms, and the executed order form remains the authority for price and service terms. It says only one person was active at the time of writing and that only one administrator is trained.

3. What success looks like
Read the whole document (4,402 characters)
- An account manager can open one installer and see their orders, delivery complaints and credit queries together, without asking three different teams.
- The data in the brain is fresh each business morning.
- Account managers ask the brain questions as part of their normal day, not only the project team.
- There is a named internal owner who can say what the brain is worth to the business.
4. Phases, owners and milestones
Phase 1: Kick-off and access
| Activity | Owner | Milestone |
|---|---|---|
| Confirm goals, scope and the list of source systems | Laura Penhaligon with the customer's project lead | Scope agreed |
| Name the customer's administrators and a project sponsor | Customer's operations lead | Roles confirmed |
| Grant secure access to the source systems | Customer's IT contact | Access in place |
Phase 2: Connect the data
| Activity | Owner | Milestone |
|---|---|---|
| Connect the order data, the helpdesk and the credit and accounting data | Laura Penhaligon | First sources loading |
| Check records against the customer's own reports | Customer's data owner | Records agreed as correct |
| Set the nightly refresh and confirm it completes before the working day | Laura Penhaligon | Refresh confirmed |
Phase 3: Build the installer view
| Activity | Owner | Milestone |
|---|---|---|
| Match installers across orders, complaints and credit queries | Laura Penhaligon with the customer's data owner | One record per installer |
| Set up the pages and saved questions account managers will use | Laura Penhaligon | Installer view ready for review |
| Review the view with a small group of account managers | Customer's sales lead | Feedback captured |
Phase 4: Training and go-live
| Activity | Owner | Milestone |
|---|---|---|
| Train account managers and administrators | Laura Penhaligon | Training delivered |
| Invite all licensed users | Customer's administrators | Users invited |
| Hand over to customer success | Laura Penhaligon and Elena Novak | Handover complete |
5. Current position
The account is at the start of onboarding. One person has been active in the brain so far, which is expected at this stage. The usage picture will change once sources are connected and training has taken place. No support tickets have been raised and no invoices are overdue.
6. Risks and how we will manage them
| Risk | Mitigation |
|---|---|
| Source access is delayed on the customer side | Raise early with the customer's IT contact and agree who unblocks it |
| Installer names differ between orders, complaints and credit records | Agree a matching rule in phase three and review the exceptions together |
| Usage stays limited to the project team | Train account managers directly and agree a few questions each of them will ask weekly |
| Only one administrator is trained | Name and train a second administrator before go-live |
7. After go-live
Elena Novak takes over the relationship as customer success manager. She will review adoption with the customer, agree what value to measure, and begin preparing for the renewal conversation well ahead of 23 Nov 2026. Matteo Ricci remains the contact for any commercial change, such as extra users or connectors.
8. How we will work together
- A short weekly check-in between Laura Penhaligon and the customer's project lead during onboarding.
- Issues and decisions are written down and shared after each check-in.
- Changes to scope are agreed in writing before work starts.
