What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Final Starter-tier QBR deck prepared by Marcus Bell on 1 Mar 2026. It reports three to four active users against 15 licensed, no tickets, no overdue invoices, and sets up a renewal conversation before the term ends on 30 Apr 2026.
What it is: a customer success review written by Marcus Bell, Customer Success Manager, for Grisedale Search & Selection. It is a status and action document, not a contract.
What it says: "Active users average between three and four across the last thirty days" against 15 licensed users. Usage is up on the previous quarter but concentrated in a small group. The deck states no value figure yet.
Commits: no service terms. It lists actions: a call with the operations manager before 30 Apr 2026, finding two or three more consultants, and a renewal conversation led by Priya Raman.
Not settled: the deck gives "Contracted annual recurring revenue" of £24k, but it is not an order form, so the contracted price is not confirmed here. It does not show whether renewal happened, and the term end is now past. It does not name the operations manager or show who the heavy users are.

1. Where we are
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Customer since | Wednesday 1 May 2024 |
| Tier | Starter |
| Contracted annual recurring revenue | £24k |
| Licensed users | 15 |
| Current term ends | 30 Apr 2026 |
| Account owner | Priya Raman |
| Customer Success Manager | Marcus Bell |
Grisedale bought Starter so that consultants and the operations manager can see client accounts, open roles and client complaints in one place. This review covers how that has been going since the last check-in.
2. Usage
- Active users average between three and four across the last thirty days.
- That is up on the previous quarter, so the direction is right even though the number is small.
- Licensed users are well above the people actually using the brain, so there is plenty of headroom on the current plan.
- I've pulled the numbers by person, and the use is concentrated in a small group. I would like to understand who else in the consulting team could benefit.
3. Value
Read the whole document (2,606 characters)
- The brain is being used as intended: one place to look up a client account, its open roles and any complaints, instead of switching between systems.
- We do not yet have a figure that shows what that saves the team. A short conversation with the operations manager about where time used to go would give us something to put in writing.
- Questions asked is the measure I would most like to build on at the next review.
4. Support and service
- No tickets raised in the last thirty days, and none of them high priority.
- No overdue invoices on the account.
- Nothing has been reported against availability or the nightly refresh.
Quiet on support can be a good sign, but I would rather hear it from you than assume it. If something is annoying the team and not worth a ticket, tell me.
5. What I'd suggest next
| Action | Who | When |
|---|---|---|
| Short call with the operations manager to agree what the team asks the brain each week | Marcus Bell | Before the term ends on 30 Apr 2026 |
| Identify two or three more consultants who would use it day to day | Marcus Bell with Grisedale | Over the coming weeks |
| Renewal conversation, including whether the current plan still fits | Priya Raman | Ahead of 30 Apr 2026 |
6. Renewal
The current term runs to 30 Apr 2026. Priya will be in touch about renewal terms and the right plan for how Grisedale is using the brain. Happy to jump on a call if it would help to walk through any of this first.
Thanks, Marcus
