Final QBR deck for the Growth tier account, dated 14 May 2026. About twelve of 50 licensed users are active, invoices are paid on time, and the term ends 27 Dec 2026. It states a P1 first-response commitment of one business hour.

What it is: a quarterly business review prepared by Daniel Okafor for Pentreath Cold Chain, filed as final. It records contracted annual recurring revenue of £48k, 50 licensed users and a current term ending 27 Dec 2026.

Commits: it cites the Growth first-response commitment of "one business hour for P1 issues". It commits BG-Demo to proposing dates for a dashboards session and the renewal conversation.

Unusual: nothing off the standard Growth terms. It gives no figure for time saved and says "We have not put a number on time saved in this review."

Not settled: the deck is not a contract and does not state renewal price or notice date. It names a key-person risk in a small user group and says a value case should be built early, ahead of the finance reader at renewal.

Pentreath Cold Chain runs temperature-controlled storage and distribution for food and pharmaceutical clients from Avonmouth and two satellite depots. The brain was bought so that account managers can see each client's temperature-excursion tickets, orders and contract reviews together, in one place.

Usage

  • The average number of active users over the last month was about twelve, against 50 licensed users.
  • That is a little up on the prior quarter, roughly four percent.
  • Usage is steady rather than spiking. The people using the brain are using it regularly.
  • Plenty of headroom remains in the licence. Only a fraction of the licensed users are active in a typical month.

What this tells us: adoption is healthy among the core group of account managers but has not yet spread widely across the licence. The opportunity is more teams and more of the depot staff, not more seats.

Value

  • Account managers use the brain to bring excursion tickets, orders and contract reviews for one client onto a single page before a client conversation.
  • This is the use the account was bought for, and it is still the main one.
  • The dashboards builder, which comes with Growth, is a natural next step for the team. It would let them keep a standing view of excursions by client rather than rebuilding it each time.

We have not put a number on time saved in this review. If Pentreath would like a value case ahead of renewal, we should agree together how to measure it.

Support and service

MeasureLast month
Tickets raisedtwo
High-priority ticketsone
Overdue invoicesnone
  • One of the two tickets was high priority. It was handled under the Growth first-response commitment of one business hour for P1 issues.
  • Invoices are paid on time and nothing is outstanding.
  • No service credit claims have been raised.

Issues and risks

  • Breadth of use. A small group carries most of the activity. If one or two of them moved on, usage would dip noticeably.
  • Value story. The renewal is on 27 Dec 2026. A finance reader will want to see what the brain has delivered, so we should build that evidence early.
  • Support load. Ticket volume is low and there is no pattern to worry about.

Thank you to the Pentreath team for their time. Just to close the loop: I will come back to you with proposed dates for the dashboards session and the renewal conversation, and I would value your view on which teams should come next.

Best wishes, Daniel
