Draft proposal dated 10 Oct 2023 from Tom Ashdown for the Growth tier. Growth subscription is £43k annual in advance; total deal amount £55k including one-off implementation. Standard Growth service levels apply; thirty-day payment terms.

What it is: a draft sales proposal from Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, for the Growth tier, built and run inside the customer's own Snowflake account. It states "Nothing in this document is final until an order form is signed."

Commits: the annual Growth subscription is £43k, billed in advance, and the "Total deal amount (subscription plus implementation)" is £55k. Payment terms are "the standard thirty days", with quarterly billing on request.

Unusual: nothing off standard terms. The deal amount includes the implementation fee, so it "should not be read as the annual price".

Not settled: the connector list and timeline are left to the order form, as are the day-to-day lead and signatory. The text gives no figures for availability or response times, and the document is stale relative to any executed order form.

Body

Pentreath Cold Chain - Proposal v1

Draft. Written by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BG-Demo, and dated 10 Oct 2023. Nothing in this document is final until an order form is signed.

1. Context

Pentreath Cold Chain runs temperature-controlled storage and distribution for food and pharmaceutical clients from Avonmouth and two satellite depots. Account managers currently have to look in several places to understand how a single client is doing: temperature-excursion tickets in one system, orders in another and contract reviews somewhere else.

The aim is simple: let an account manager open one place and see a client's excursion tickets, orders and contract reviews together, and ask questions of that data in plain English.

2. What we propose

We propose the Growth tier of B-Glass, built and run inside your own Snowflake account. In practice that means:

Read the whole document (3,483 characters)
  • one AI-queryable layer over your CRM, helpdesk, orders and contract data, so nobody has to reconcile systems by hand;
  • pages, chat and search for account managers and depot leads;
  • the dashboards builder, so your team can build its own client views;
  • quarterly business reviews with your customer success manager, Daniel Okafor, to check that the brain is earning its keep.

3. Scope of the first phase

AreaWhat happens
DiscoveryWalk through the systems that hold tickets, orders and contract reviews, and agree which connectors come first
BuildConnect the agreed sources and set up the nightly refresh
Client viewConfigure the combined client view for account managers
TrainingShort sessions for account managers and depot leads
ReviewCheck usage and questions asked with the customer success manager once the brain is live

The implementation is a fixed-fee, one-off piece of work. The timeline and the list of connectors promised will be set out in the order form.

4. Pricing

ItemAmount
Growth subscription, annual, billed in advance£43k
One-off implementation (fixed fee)Included in the deal amount below
Total deal amount (subscription plus implementation)£55k

The deal amount is the total value of the engagement. It includes the one-off implementation fee, so it should not be read as the annual price. The annual price on its own is £43k.

Payment terms are the standard thirty days. Quarterly billing is available on request. Tom will confirm the final figures in the order form before anything is signed.

5. Service levels

The standard Growth service levels apply: the Growth availability commitment, the Growth first-response time for priority incidents, and the nightly refresh finished before the start of the business day on working days.

6. Security

Because the brain runs inside your own Snowflake account, your data stays in your environment. If your IT or compliance colleagues want to see our security questionnaire, we can send it over and talk them through it.

7. Open points

  • Which systems hold the contract reviews, and who owns them on your side.
  • Which connectors matter most for the first weeks.
  • Who at Pentreath Cold Chain will be the day-to-day lead and who will sign the order form.

8. Next steps

  1. Review this draft and note anything missing.
  2. Short call to agree the open points above.
  3. Tom issues the order form for signature once scope is agreed.
