What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Draft proposal of 16 Jul 2024 from Tom Ashdown for the Growth tier: £44k annual subscription, £56k first-year deal amount including implementation. Not an order form; terms are not final and a v2 is still to come.
What it is: a first-draft proposal prepared by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, for Calderbrook Housing Group's board reporting needs. It proposes the Growth tier with a build inside Calderbrook's own Snowflake account.
Commits: nothing binding. The text says "Commercial terms are not final until they appear in an order form under the MSA". Priced at £44k a year, with a first-year deal amount of £56k that is "not an annual price". Payment is thirty days from invoice.
Unusual: no discount is shown, and the annual price is said to apply at renewal "subject to the price book in force at that time".
Not settled: the connector list and source owners, the day-to-day administrator, any information governance review, start date, and billing frequency. The evidence does not show whether a v2 or an order form followed.

Body
Calderbrook Housing Group - Proposal v1
Status: Draft
| Prepared for | Calderbrook Housing Group, Leeds |
| Prepared by | Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BG-Demo |
| Customer success lead | Daniel Okafor, BG-Demo |
| Date | 16 Jul 2024 |
| Proposed tier | Growth |
This is a first draft for discussion. Commercial terms are not final until they appear in an order form under the MSA, and Tom will confirm every price in writing before anything is signed.
Context
Calderbrook Housing Group is a housing association with homes across West Yorkshire. The business-intelligence team has told us that the information needed for board reporting sits in several places: tenant calls, repairs tickets, complaints and rent arrears. Pulling those together today takes manual effort, and the picture is often out of date by the time it reaches the board.
The aim is simple: one layer over those sources that the team can question directly, so that a board-ready view comes from asking rather than from reconciling spreadsheets.
What we heard
Read the whole document (5,342 characters)
- The business-intelligence team wants to join tenant calls, repairs, complaints and arrears into a single picture.
- The output needs to be board-ready, not just exploratory.
- Data must stay inside Calderbrook's own environment.
- Several teams will want access over time, not only the analysts.
If we have misunderstood any of this, please say so and we will correct the draft.
Proposed solution
BG-Demo would build B-Glass inside Calderbrook's own Snowflake account. It connects the source systems, indexes them nightly and gives people a single place to search, chat and build pages across all of them.
Tier: Growth
Growth suits several teams working from the same data. It includes:
- the Growth user allowance and the Growth connector allowance
- pages, chat and search across connected sources
- the dashboards builder, so the team can build the board view itself
- quarterly business reviews with the customer success lead
- the standard Growth service levels for availability and support response
- a nightly refresh completed before the working day begins on business days
Likely sources
The source list is an open point (see below), but the conversation so far points to:
- the call recorder or telephony platform holding tenant calls
- the repairs and helpdesk ticketing system
- the complaints log
- the rent and arrears data held in the finance or housing system
- the CRM or tenant records system, if one is in use
Each connector named in the order form will carry a commitment to be live within an agreed number of days.
Implementation approach
Implementation is a one-off, fixed-fee engagement. For Growth the standard programme runs for eight weeks and covers:
- Discovery and access: confirm sources, owners and permissions with Calderbrook's IT and data colleagues.
- Connection and indexing: connect each source, check that records arrive completely and agree what counts as fresh.
- Build with the team: work with the business-intelligence team to create the first pages and the board-ready dashboard.
- Training and handover: short sessions for the wider teams, then handover to the customer success lead.
An on-site training day is available as an add-on if Calderbrook would like one.
Pricing
| Item | Basis | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Growth subscription | Annual, invoiced in advance | £44k |
| Implementation | One-off, fixed fee, included in the deal amount | Included |
| Deal amount, first year | Subscription plus implementation | £56k |
Notes on the figures:
- The annual price of £44k is the recurring subscription. It is the figure that would apply at renewal, subject to the price book in force at that time.
- The deal amount of £56k is the total value of the first year, including the one-off implementation fee. It is not an annual price.
- Payment terms are thirty days from invoice. Quarterly billing is available on request.
- No discount is shown in this draft.
Commercial and contractual framework
- The subscription would be covered by an order form under BG-Demo's MSA.
- The order form, once executed, sets the contracted price, term, connectors and service levels.
- Additional users or connectors beyond the Growth allowances can be added later as add-ons, or by moving to Enterprise if Calderbrook's needs grow.
Open points
These are not yet settled and will be resolved before a v2 of this proposal:
- the final list of connectors and the owner of each source
- who at Calderbrook will act as the day-to-day administrator
- whether Calderbrook's information governance team needs to review the data handling approach
- the preferred start date and the board meeting the first dashboard should support
- whether quarterly or annual billing is preferred
Next steps
- Calderbrook reviews this draft and sends comments to Tom.
- Tom and the business-intelligence team agree the connector list and walk through a demonstration on Calderbrook's own data.
- Tom issues a revised proposal and, if the team is comfortable, an order form for review.
- Daniel Okafor joins the final conversation so that the handover from sales to customer success is clear from the start.
Leave any questions with Tom and he will pick them up directly.
Best, Tom
Unusual terms
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- No discount shown
