What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Rajesh Kumar queried the 56,000 year-one Growth proposal, renewal terms and SLA. Lewis Kerr offered 10 per cent off year one. Rajesh will review with finance and reply early the following week.
What happened: On 19 Dec 2024 Rajesh and Mei Xin went through the proposal with Lewis Kerr. Rajesh had received it the day before.
Customer view: Rajesh tested price, renewal obligation, uptime SLA and support response. He did the discount sum himself: 10 per cent off brings year one to just under 50,000.
Commercial: The 56,000 covers Growth subscription plus implementation. Lewis said the discount applies to the first term only, so year two is at full subscription rate.
Watch: No decision was made. This is a proposal, not an executed order form, so price and terms are not locked until it is signed.

Transcript
- Lewis KerrMorning, Mei Xin, Rajesh. Thanks for making the time.
- Rajesh KumarMorning, Lewis. Just got your proposal yesterday. A few questions.
- Lewis KerrOf course. Fire away.
- Rajesh KumarSo the deal is 56,000 in year one. That's subscription plus implementation?
- Lewis KerrExactly. 56,000 covers the Growth subscription and the implementation, eight weeks of setup and training.
- Rajesh KumarAnd year two onwards?
- Lewis KerrYear two onwards you're paying the subscription only, no implementation fee. That's a lower annual cost.
- Mei Xin LimThe proposal mentions quarterly check-ins. What does that look like?
- Lewis KerrOnce you're live, we sit down for a business review. We look at what your teams are asking the brain, what dashboards are adding value, and what else might help. Usually an hour, quarterly. Our CSM runs that, it's about maximising your value.
- Rajesh KumarAnd the contract terms, annual commitment?
- Lewis KerrYes, annual upfront. Standard for us. Quarterly billing is available if you prefer, but upfront is the best value. The contract is 12 months from go-live.
- Rajesh KumarWhat happens after 12 months? Do we have to renew?
- Lewis KerrAfter 12 months, yes, you renew if you want to keep it. We'll give you 90 days' notice before your contract ends. If you want to renew, we send a new order form. If you want to pause or stop, no drama, you just let us know.
- Mei Xin LimCan we increase users or connectors during the year?
- Lewis KerrYes. You can add users or connectors any time. We'd invoice you for the add-on for the rest of the year and co-term it to your renewal.
- Rajesh KumarWhat's the SLA on uptime?
- Lewis KerrGrowth is 99.5 per cent availability. If we drop below that in a month, we credit you 5 per cent of that month's fee. Enterprise is higher, but that's a conversation for later.
- Mei Xin LimAnd support, if something breaks, what's the response time?
- Lewis KerrGrowth is one business hour for high priority tickets, four business hours for anything else. There's a support portal and you tag something as urgent. We monitor it and get back to you within the SLA.
- Rajesh KumarAlright. So we're looking at 56,000 for year one. Do you have any discount options?
- Lewis KerrWe do discount the first term only, at most 20 per cent. So I could offer you 10 per cent off if that helps you move forward now. But any discount only applies to year one; from year two onwards you'd pay the full subscription rate.
- Rajesh KumarSo 10 per cent off brings year one to just under 50,000. Let me think about that. What are the next steps?
- Lewis KerrIf you're happy to move forward, I'll send you an order form to execute. That locks in the price and the terms. Once we've signed, we'll kick off the implementation, Hannah will be your main point of contact. We'll have an onboarding call next week.
- Mei Xin LimAnd that's eight weeks?
- Lewis KerrEight weeks to go-live, yes. Check-ins every other week.
- Rajesh KumarAlright. Let me review with my finance team and I'll get back to you early next week.
- Lewis KerrPerfect. I'll send a summary email after this with all the numbers and next steps. Any other questions?
- Rajesh KumarNo, I think we're good. Thanks, Lewis.
- Lewis KerrCheers, Rajesh. Mei Xin, speak soon.
- Mei Xin LimThanks, Lewis.
