What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Discovery call: Rajesh Kumar (COO) and Mei Xin Lim (Head of Customer Service) described three disconnected systems and slow reports. Priya Raman indicated Growth at around £44k a year and proposed a demo on their data.
What happened: Priya Raman ran discovery with Rajesh Kumar and Mei Xin Lim. They said answering one shipment question means checking three places and can take an hour.
Customer view: Rajesh said BI reports run days behind and a custom build is hard to justify. Mei Xin said a ten-second answer would change everything, because today it is a manual report.
Commercial: Priya indicated Growth for forty or fifty users and eight or nine systems, in the range of £44k a year plus implementation, as an estimate only. That sits at or above Growth's 40 users and eight connectors, so add-ons may be needed.
Watch: Next steps were a one-pager, a pricing sheet that week and a demo on their data in a couple of weeks. The evidence does not show a budget holder or whether the demo happened.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Priya Raman to send the one-pager and a pricing sheet by the end of that week.
- Priya Raman to agree a demo date in about two weeks, needing access to Salesforce and one other system.
- Mei Xin Lim to arrange the access for the demo.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The customer has considered a custom build and doubts it can justify the cost.
- Forty or fifty users and eight or nine systems may exceed Growth's included users and connectors.
- The £44,000 figure was an estimate pending a formal quote, with no procurement route confirmed.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Growth tier fits the described scope, with add-on users or connectors if the count runs over.
- Both attendees agreed on a clear pain and accepted a demo on their own data.
Transcript
- Priya RamanRajesh, Mei Xin, thanks so much for making the time. I know it's early morning for you. Look, the reason I called is: we work with freight and logistics companies across APAC, and I've been hearing that a lot of teams are stitching together data from Salesforce, their helpdesk, maybe a finance system, and nobody really has a single view. Does that sound familiar?
- Mei Xin LimWe definitely have that problem. Our sales team is in Salesforce, but our operations run in a different system, and finance is in another. To answer a question about a shipment end-to-end, from booking to invoice, we have to check three places.
- Priya RamanExactly. And that takes how long, roughly?
- Mei Xin LimCould be an hour if someone needs to dig into emails too.
- Rajesh KumarAnd we lose time. A customer calls with a question about their shipment status, we can't answer fast because we're still stitching the data together.
- Priya RamanRight. So there's a service problem and an efficiency problem. Tell me about your systems. What does the stack look like?
- Mei Xin LimSalesforce for the sales and booking side. Our operations team uses a separate platform for warehouse tracking and shipments. Finance is in the accounting system. And then we've got Slack, email, the call recorder.
- Rajesh KumarThe challenge is, none of these talk to each other. Our BI team tries to pull data out and build reports, but it's always a few days behind, and by then the question has changed.
- Priya RamanHow many people would need visibility into this?
- Mei Xin LimOperations, so maybe thirty people. Sales, maybe fifteen. Finance, five or six. So forty or fifty, roughly.
- Priya RamanAnd who's asking the questions? Who's the pain point?
- Mei Xin LimOur operations manager, mostly. And the finance director when something doesn't reconcile.
- Rajesh KumarWe've been looking at building something custom, but the build time and the cost are, it's not clear we can justify it.
- Priya RamanTo keep momentum, I think there's a way to solve this without a year-long build. But let me ask: what would change for you if you could ask show me all shipments from electronics clients in the last thirty days that are still open and get the answer in ten seconds?
- Mei Xin LimThat would change everything. Right now that's a manual report.
- Rajesh KumarAnd if it were live data, not a report from two days ago?
- Priya RamanYes. Our product pulls data every night and it's queryable in English. You ask, it joins the data from Salesforce, your operations platform, email, whatever you need, and shows you the answer. No SQL, no BI tools, no waiting.
- Mei Xin LimAnd it's running inside your platform?
- Priya RamanIt runs inside your Snowflake account. Your data never leaves your environment. We build the connectors, refresh the data every night, and you query it.
- Rajesh KumarWho would set it up?
- Priya RamanWe do. Takes about twelve weeks for the scope you're describing. We audit your systems, design the connectors, build them, test, and go live. You pay a fixed fee for the implementation.
- Mei Xin LimAnd the ongoing cost?
- Priya RamanSubscription, annual. Depends on how many users and connectors. For your use case: forty, fifty users, maybe eight or nine systems, we'd be looking at the Growth tier. I'd need to get you a formal quote, but it's in the range of £44,000 a year, plus the one-time implementation cost. Let me confirm those numbers in writing and send you a sheet.
- Rajesh KumarAnd the timeline?
- Priya RamanIf you're interested and we can get procurement sorted, I'd say we could be live by early next year. February, if we kick off in November.
- Mei Xin LimThat works for us. What's the next step?
- Priya RamanLet me send over a one-pager on what the brain does, and then, if you want to go deeper, we'd do a demo on your own data. You'd see what the queries look like, how fast it runs, and we can answer technical questions.
- Rajesh KumarHow long is the demo?
- Priya RamanAbout an hour. We'd need access to Salesforce and one other system so we can build a live example. Very low-touch.
- Mei Xin LimWe can arrange that.
- Priya RamanBrilliant. Let me get you that one-pager, and then we can sync on a demo date, maybe in a couple of weeks? That gives you time to think and loop in anyone else who needs to be in the room.
- Mei Xin LimPerfect.
- Rajesh KumarAnd you'll send a pricing sheet?
- Priya RamanI will. By end of this week. Just to manage expectations: it's an estimate, because it does depend on what systems you want to connect and how many users. But the Growth tier I mentioned, that's the ballpark.
- Mei Xin LimOkay. Thank you.
- Priya RamanThanks both. I'll get you that one-pager and pricing, and we'll lock in the demo. Speak soon.
