What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Ryhope Catering Supplies are checking three systems for each customer issue and are growing fast. Tom Ashdown positioned Growth at fifty-six thousand all in for year one, with a demo on their own data next.
What happened: Tom Ashdown ran a discovery call on 31 Jul 2024 with Julie Wardhaugh and Allan Stoker. Tom recommended Growth: eight connectors, 40 users and an eight-week implementation.
Customer view: Julie checks call records, the CRM and the ticketing system for each issue, and finds it slow. Allan says new account managers spend a lot of time learning where to find things.
Commercial: Tom quoted fifty-six thousand all in for the first year and said a demo on their real data comes first. He wants to close a few months out and go live by the end of the year.
Watch: The evidence does not show who signs. The demo depends on read-only data access, which Tom said normally takes a couple of weeks.

Follow-up
Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Tom Ashdown sends the data and systems questionnaire by end of day.
- Julie Wardhaugh and Allan Stoker return the questionnaire and arrange read-only access for the demo.
- Tom Ashdown schedules the demo on Ryhope's own data.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The evidence does not show who holds sign-off, and Allan Stoker only said they would reply quickly on the questionnaire.
- The demo needs read-only access from the customer's data team, which could slow the close target.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Growth fits a growing customer service and account management base, with 40 users leaving headroom for finance teams.
- Julie and Allan both describe a concrete pain, so a demo on their own data can carry the value case.
Transcript
- Tom AshdownMorning, both. How's the week treating you?
- Julie WardhaughAll good, thanks. Bit manic in the office but that's normal.
- Tom AshdownI hear that. Right, so Julie and Allan, thanks for taking the time. Just to recap where we're at: you got the intro from a colleague, you've seen a bit of what the brain does on our website, and you wanted to understand if it could help with your customer service side.
- Julie WardhaughThat's right. We've got teams in Gateshead and we're expanding. Right now, when a customer calls with an issue, a delivery problem, a complaint about equipment, we're checking three systems. Call records, our CRM, and the ticketing system. It's slow.
- Allan StokerAnd we're growing fast. We've got new account managers, and they're spending a lot of time just learning where to find things. It's inefficient.
- Tom AshdownYeah, that's a familiar one. So the brain does exactly that: it pulls in all those systems: call recordings, your CRM, your ticketing tool, and makes them searchable from one place. You ask a question, it brings back the answer.
- Julie WardhaughHow many of your systems can it connect to?
- Tom AshdownGood question. Growth tier, which I think is the right fit for you given your scale, that's eight connectors. So Salesforce, your call recorder, Zendesk, Xero, Google Workspace, Slack, whatever you're using, we can plug in.
- Allan StokerAnd it works within our data? Our own Snowflake or whatever?
- Tom AshdownIt runs inside your own infrastructure, yes. All your data stays with you. We build the brain, you own it. And it keeps itself fresh, nightly refresh, so every morning you've got the latest data.
- Julie WardhaughWho uses it? Is it just customer service?
- Tom AshdownCould be anyone. Growth comes with forty users, soft limit, so a bit of headroom. Customer service, account management, finance teams if they want to look at call notes against invoices. It's flexible.
- Allan StokerAnd what's the commercial model?
- Tom AshdownImplementation and a subscription. For Growth, all in first year you'd be looking at fifty-six thousand. That covers setup, everything live, training, support.
- Julie WardhaughOkay. And then what?
- Tom AshdownRenews every year. Happy to walk through the details once we know this is interesting to you.
- Allan StokerWhat does 'live' mean? How fast can you get us up and running?
- Tom AshdownEight weeks for Growth. We configure the connectors, make sure the data's correct, get your team trained. You're searching by week eight.
- Julie WardhaughThat works. What happens now?
- Tom AshdownA few things. First, and this is important, we run a demo on your actual data. Not our sandbox, your systems. That's where you see the real value. Then we'd talk about the detail and get something in writing.
- Allan StokerWhen could you do the demo?
- Tom AshdownDepends on your schedule and how fast your data team can give us read-only access to your systems. Normally a couple of weeks. I'll send you a questionnaire: just about your data structure, your systems, your team, and we can start planning from there.
- Julie WardhaughThat sounds good. Send it over.
- Tom AshdownNo drama. I'll get it to you by end of day. No pressure, but if you wanted to move quickly, we're hoping to close this by early November. Just so we can get you live by the end of the year.
- Allan StokerUnderstood. We'll get back to you quickly on the questionnaire.
- Tom AshdownPerfect. Any other questions before we wrap?
- Julie WardhaughNot from me.
- Tom AshdownAllan?
- Allan StokerNo, all good.
- Tom AshdownBrilliant. Cheers, both. Speak soon.
