What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Discovery call on 7 Jul 2025 with Victoria Gaskell and Antony Rimmer. Both described guest data scattered across systems. Lewis Kerr pitched Growth at £44k a year plus £12k implementation and proposed a demo.
What happened: Lewis Kerr explained the brain and asked who uses the systems. Victoria, Head of Guest Experience, described CRM, booking and call data held in separate places.
Customer view: Victoria said she definitely has that problem. Antony Rimmer, Finance Director, wants to see which guests have paid, who is querying invoices and how many calls there have been.
Commercial: Lewis sized the need at thirty or forty users and pitched Growth at £44k a year with £12k one-off implementation. Antony asked whether that was all in.
Watch: The demo was left for Victoria to confirm with Antony. The evidence does not show a demo date or a decision.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Lewis Kerr sends Victoria Gaskell a brief outline and demo dates.
- Hannah Lowe runs a demo on a sample of Lathom Sands data once dates are agreed.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- The demo date is unconfirmed and depends on Victoria checking with Antony.
- Antony probed cost and what is included, so price may be the sticking point.
- The evidence does not show whether the demo was held or what was decided afterwards.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Growth tier covers the thirty or forty users described, with up to eight connectors and quarterly reviews.
- A finance view of payments, invoice queries and call volumes speaks directly to Antony's stated need.
Transcript
- Lewis Kerr NoneVictoria, Antony, hi there, can you hear me okay?
- Victoria Gaskell NoneYes, Lewis, we're good. How are you?
- Lewis Kerr NoneGreat, thanks. Just checking, you're both okay for forty minutes or so?
- Antony Rimmer NoneYeah, that works for us.
- Lewis Kerr NoneLovely. So today I want to understand a bit about Lathom Sands, what you do, what systems you're running, and whether the brain might help you join the dots. How was your week?
- Victoria Gaskell NoneNot bad, you know. Busy, but good. We're in the middle of the summer season, so it's all quite frantic.
- Lewis Kerr NoneI can imagine. Holiday parks in July, I'd say you've got your hands full. What I should probably say is, BB-Demo is an AI layer on top of all your different systems. So if you've got a CRM, a booking system, helpdesk, calls, whatever: the brain sits on top of that, and suddenly your people can ask questions across all of it without having to log into five different places and reconcile things by hand.
- Victoria Gaskell NoneThat sounds interesting. We definitely have that problem. We're in CRM, we've got a booking system, we track calls, and it's a right mess trying to see the full picture on a guest or an issue.
- Lewis Kerr NoneRight. Tell me about the people side, who's using these systems day to day? Guest experience, operations, finance?
- Victoria Gaskell NoneIt's mostly my team: guest experience, so we're on the helpdesk and CRM. Then operations has their own view of things. And Antony on the finance side, obviously.
- Lewis Kerr NoneAnd when you say it's a mess, what does that actually look like? Are people having to copy things around, or are they just missing information?
- Victoria Gaskell NoneA bit of both. If a guest complains about something, we might have notes in the CRM, but the call recording is somewhere else, the booking details are somewhere else. We end up on a call with operations explaining the same thing twice.
- Antony Rimmer NoneAnd from a finance angle, I need to see which guests have actually paid, which ones are querying invoices, how many calls we've had with them. It's all in different places.
- Lewis Kerr NoneSo what you're after is a single source of truth, basically. That's exactly what the brain does. You'd have Victoria's team, Antony, operations, everyone asking the same questions on the same data, live. No more hand-reconciliation. How many people are we talking about across those teams?
- Victoria Gaskell NoneIn guest experience, maybe fifteen, twenty? Operations has fewer on the systems side. Finance is just Antony really, but he might pull in someone from the finance team for ad-hoc stuff.
- Lewis Kerr NoneOkay, so we're talking maybe thirty or forty across the board, very much in scope for what we call the Growth tier. That gives you forty users, up to eight connectors so you can plug in your CRM, your booking system, your helpdesk, calls, finance data, whatever. And it includes a quarterly business review where we sit down and look at what you've built, make sure the data's fresh, make sure people are actually using it.
- Antony Rimmer NoneHow long does it take to set up?
- Lewis Kerr NoneGood question. For the Growth tier, we're normally looking at about eight weeks of implementation, including design with your team, connecting all the systems, getting people trained up. We'd have someone working with you fairly hands-on through that.
- Victoria Gaskell NoneAnd then it's a subscription after that?
- Lewis Kerr NoneYeah. Subscription's annual, up front. You'd renew each year, and we can adjust the terms if you want to add more connectors or users or anything else. The way we normally work is we'd do a security review with your IT team, get everyone signing off, then we'd go live and start training.
- Antony Rimmer NoneWhat's the cost?
- Lewis Kerr NoneGood. So for Growth, the subscription is forty-four thousand a year, and the implementation is twelve thousand, one-off. Both are fixed.
- Antony Rimmer NoneRight. And that's all in?
- Lewis Kerr NoneImplementation includes the connector work, the design, the training, everything. The subscription covers the platform, the data refresh, the support.
- Victoria Gaskell NoneOkay. And if this works out, what does the next stage look like?
- Lewis Kerr NoneGood question. What I'd suggest is Hannah, our solutions engineer, does a demo with you on a sample of your data so you can see what it actually looks like when we've plugged in your CRM and your booking system and your calls. That gives you a much clearer picture of whether it's going to solve the problem. Sound good?
- Victoria Gaskell NoneYeah, that makes sense. When could we do that?
- Lewis Kerr NoneLet me look at the calendar and send you a couple of dates. I'd say we're probably three, four weeks out, so mid-August or so. That work?
- Victoria Gaskell NoneShould be fine. I'll check with Antony and we'll get back to you.
- Lewis Kerr NonePerfect. I'll send over a brief outline of what we'd cover, and the demo dates. Anything else I should address today?
- Antony Rimmer NoneI think that covers it from my end.
- Victoria Gaskell NoneSame here. Cheers, Lewis.
- Lewis Kerr NoneGreat. Thanks both. Speak soon, and I'll get those dates over by tomorrow.
