Cadnam Rise's Operations Manager and Managing Director want quick answers on placements and candidate flow. Lewis Kerr pitched Starter at £6,000 implementation and £20k a year. Snowflake is a prerequisite they do not yet have.

What happened: Phoebe Lacey and Duncan Ealey described a team of about ten whose CRM, calls and emails are not joined up. Lewis Kerr proposed the Starter tier with three connectors to start and a live-data demo for mid-July.

Customer view: Duncan said he cannot answer a client who asks what has been done for them without going back to check. Phoebe said the data is scattered.

Commercial: Pricing quoted was £6,000 implementation and £20k a year in advance. Snowflake is on their roadmap but not bought, so it gates the deal.

Watch: no budget holder commitment or signing date was given. Snowflake setup is an open dependency.

Hi, both. Can you hear me okay?
  2. Phoebe Lacey
    Phoebe Lacey
    Yep, good here.
  3. Duncan Ealey
    Duncan Ealey
All set. Nice to talk to you.
  4. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
Thanks for the time. So Phoebe, you'd said in the initial chat that you're trying to get better visibility on placements and candidate flow. Is that still what's on your mind?
  5. Phoebe Lacey
    Phoebe Lacey
Yeah. So we're a team of about ten, we recruit for maritime and engineering roles on the South Coast. We use our CRM to track candidates and jobs, but what we're missing is a quick way to pull together the data. Like, how many candidates are we interviewing this month or which clients have we placed the most people with. At the moment, it's scattered.
  6. Duncan Ealey
    Duncan Ealey
And that affects how we talk to clients. If a client rings up and says 'what have you done for us', I can't give them a quick answer. I have to go back and check.
  7. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
So you've got data in the CRM but you can't ask it a question without manual work.
  8. Phoebe Lacey
    Phoebe Lacey
Exactly. And we also log calls and emails with candidates: that stuff is all in email and the call system, nowhere near the CRM.
  9. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
Right. So what we do is build a queryable layer that joins everything together. You'd ask it 'show me all placements with client X in the last three months' and get the answer instantly. It sits in your Snowflake account.
  10. Duncan Ealey
    Duncan Ealey
Do you need us to have Snowflake already?
  11. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
Not necessarily. But you'll need it for us to run the brain, so that would be something you'd set up. Have you heard of Snowflake before?
  12. Phoebe Lacey
    Phoebe Lacey
We've looked at it. It's on our roadmap, but we haven't pulled the trigger yet.
  13. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
Okay. So that would be a prerequisite. Once it's there, we'd connect your CRM, calls, and emails, that's three connectors to start. You'd be on our Starter tier: one team, up to fifteen users, four connectors included. Implementation is four weeks.
  14. Duncan Ealey
    Duncan Ealey
    And what's the cost?
  15. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
Implementation is £6,000. Subscription is £19,500 a year, charged in advance. Includes quarterly check-ins so we make sure you're getting value from it.
  16. Phoebe Lacey
    Phoebe Lacey
Right. And before we sign anything, we'd see it working on our real data?
  17. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
Yeah. We'd do a discovery call with you, understand your CRM and your systems, then we'd run a demo on your live data so you can see exactly what it would look like. That's usually about two weeks after discovery.
  18. Duncan Ealey
    Duncan Ealey
Okay. When would that be? When could you do the demo?
  19. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
    Pretty flexible. What suits you?
  20. Phoebe Lacey
    Phoebe Lacey
    Middle of July, maybe?
  21. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
That works. I'll send some detail over today and we'll lock in a date for mid-July. Sound good?
  22. Duncan Ealey
    Duncan Ealey
    Yep, looks good.
  23. Lewis Kerr
    Lewis Kerr
    Cheers. I'll be in touch.
